Great Coil
I get about 3 inches more on my Bounty Hunter IV then the 7" coil...Very nice coil.

Tight fit and does not affect sensitivity or depth
Thin plastic, but that's kind of what we want out of a cover. Fits on tightly and will not come off without deliberate effort. Seems like it will be durable. You do have to snap it on since it fits tightly. It does not affect the sensitivity or depth from how I tested it. A silver ring held in the air without the cover on would beep when held 6 inches away, but no farther. When I put the cover on, it still beeped at 6 inches, but no farther. Have not tried testing objects in the ground.

Good starter once you get used to it.
I found out why it's a good deal. It comes down to the way it detects the item in the ground. You have to pass the coil over it to have it sound off. If you are over the item and not moving the coil back or forth over it, it doesn't continue to make a noise. More expensive detectors will sound off continually if you are over the metal while this one beeps and then goes quiet. The next one I get will be the type that makes a sound and keeps making the sound while near or on the metal, but for now, this one is fine and enjoyable. :)

Fits perfectly.
Bought this along with the 4” coil. Fits like it’s made for it! Air tested depth readings before and after installing, with little or no loss of signal strength on all coins.

Offers added protection to your coils
I've bought this cover in both 8 and 10 inch sizes and they are a perfect snap tight fit for my Bounty Hunter 8 and 10 inch coils. While they don't provide added waterproofing protection to the coils since there's a slight gap at the cover's edges where they fit against the rounded top edges of the coils, they do however protect the bottom of the coils from scuff damage if thee coils accidently scrap or hit stones, rocks, while sweeping your detector.

Durable - fits "OK"
Fits OK - but for older style Coil Covers - tight fit (needed). Make sure you are getting correct size. Plastic a little thin/flimsy but works. I would buy again.

didn't fit
I bought one of those coil covers for my new BH Tracker IV... the cover did not fit. I had to make some adjustments to fit in the coil because of the form. My coil has some triangle form between the coils and the cover was rectangular. Fir the rice it is fair, thinking about the coil's price. For the rest i think it is a good gadget

Perfect fit
I bought the Bounty Hunter in November as a birthday gift for my grandson. He loves it so for Christmas I bought him the accessories including the coil cover. It fits perfectly, he’s happy!

la copertura della bobina 8coverg deve essere modificata per essere adattata cioè sagomata tagliando vari pezzetti e poi limate o scartavetrate
