Replaced the Tramontina
I had a Tramontina saute pan that I loved. The finish was degrading from the thousands of meals cooked in it and I knew I had to replace it. I looked for months for a pan I thought I might be able to like half as much as my beloved Tramontina pan. When I saw this one and read the reviews I decided to give it a try. I am so glad I did. I was afraid that the quality might be a bit lacking because of the lower price. Not at all. I use it every day and I love it. I would suggest taking care when cleaning it so as not to scratch the surface. It cleans up very easily so abrasive cleaners or pads are not needed. The only thing I would like to see added to this pan are insulating covers for the handles - they can get quite hot.

I use for everyday
My old everyday pan gave it’s life as 25 years. My fingers got tired looking for a slightly larger one. I saw this and decided to give it a try. I can braise meats and go to the oven. I can sauté my veggies, I can make my sauces, I can add veggies to my sautéed meats and have all fit for roasting. I able to make carbonara for my cooking club. Everyone stopped by to look at this pan. A true winner by my estimation. Highly recommend!

Easy to clean and easy to cook with!
I have an old cooking set and can’t swing replacing them all, I decided to purchase this in hopes that I can cook a lot of things with it. And it really does a great job! I have cooked a ton of vegetables/ eggs/ potatoes, etc and it does a great job! It is super easy to clean. I have not put it through the dishwasher yet and don’t plan too. If you are looking for an everyday skillet, this is a great one at a great price! Very happy with this pans performance, it cooks evenly and nothing sticks to the bottom!

Best pan ever!
I have had this pan for 2 years and LOVE it!! However, today I forgot it was stored in the oven, and when I turned on the broil, it "melted" the handle on the lid. I immediately ordered a replacement pan so now will have 2 pans to use with only 1 lid -- use it for Chinese, spaghett, sloppy joe's, and almost everything! LOVE IT!! Best pan I own and most versatile!

Cooks well, versatile and easy on arthritic joints
I bought this as I can no longer get leverage on long-handled frying pans and cooking pots. I was *hopeful* that this model, with a handle on either side, would ease the strain. I can use this five-quart model to fry, cook in like a skillet and it is *perfectly* sized to accommodate the length of spaghetti. It cooks evenly over the entire surface. Best of all, it doesn't become so heavy that my arthritic fingers and wrists can't manage it. It cleans well and easily in the sink or dishwasher. I enthusiastically recommend!

when using pan on stovetop, lid makes alarming cracking sounds. Also, lid does not fit pan tightly.
Have used this pan 3 times, always on my gas stove, not in the oven. I am using pan according to mfr's recommendations, at low-medium heat. Lid does not fit pan tightly; it slides around. On one occasion, I steamed broccoli in the pan, and noticed the steam escaping all around the rim of the pan, from under the lid. No steam escaped from the lid vent hole. -- It didn't have to! More alarmingly, all 3 times that I used this pan I heard loud, frightening, cracking noises emanating from the lid. Because I saw one review which stated that the lid actually exploded during cooking, I will be contacting the manufacturer, and probably returning the pan. ***To their credit, the manufacturer immediately sent me a replacement lid, at no cost to me. This is excellent customer service. Unfortunately, the new lid makes the identical loud cracking noises during cooking as the original lid -- even after it is removed from the pan! I am now using the Cook's Standard pan with the glass lid from my old Calphalon pan: no more cracking noises.

The Best So Far
Love the TWO handles ~ not one long handle and one short but one easy-to-grab handle on each side. Not having much strength in my hands I appreciate that this pan is not too heavy. Perfect size pan and so versatile for everyday cooking. Also, like that the lid has a steam vent hole. Read the Care instructions and this pan should give many years of good use.

Best pan I own.
Hard to believe from the price, but this is my favorite pan--and I've got them all from high dollar anodized to high carbon steel to stainless steel to enamel and everything in between. Heat it up slowly, let it cool down before you clean it, use water and a sponge or a paper towel, and let it air dry. The coating is the best I've used to date. You can pour a cup of egg whites in this thing and 2 minutes later, slide them out without a single bit sticking. The lid is great for steaming, and I use this so often, I just leave it out on the stovetop--it looks that good.

Great quality!
This pan looks and works great. Highly recommend. (FYI: We hand wash only all of our pans regardless of make since that seems to be problematic regardless of what any manufacturers say, so far no problems at all with any of them)
