Super soft and Fun to use

My son started Karate a few weeks ago and loves to fight at home. I picked up a pair of these for myself and my husband so we can spar at home with him (and each other) and these are great! They are super soft and don't cause significant damage to the person you hit. I can't compare them to other gloves, but for a first time user these are perfect.

I can't say anything bad about them.

I've used these for about 5 boxing classes now and I've had no problem with them. I kept getting bruises from the heavy bag with the thinner ones that were included in a package set with the heavy bag that I purchased. These were much thicker and a much higher quality. We even do push ups with these on (yes push ups with your knuckles), and there is really no sign of wear. I paired them with the linen scented glove deodorizers and they even still smell great. I would recommend these to anybody because of the price and the quality. Great for someone who boxes a few times per week.

Not For Serious Boxing Training

Update: I found these in the back of closet while cleaning and I realized the gloves are of very low quality. So I am putting the rating down to 1 star. I actually would not recommend these for group fitness any longer. They have a bad shape to them and seem like a giant pillow. Spend an extra 25 bucks and get a decent pair of gloves. After months of training I realize the importance of investing in a decent pair of gloves. Especially when you get started. _____________________________ I bought these because I started training and I need some gloves to get started. My trainer then told me to get some better gloves, and I got some Ringside gloves. Its only then that I realized that these gloves were just okay. The ringsides gloves were way more comfortable and compact. These contender gloves feel and look like pillows. These are good if you are buying in bulk or maybe for general cardio or fitness classes. But if you are training for boxing I suggest spending a little bit more to get some gloves that will last and that are more comfortable. EDIT Also i weighed these gloves to see if they were really 16oz and they were not. They were about.... 13 or so ounces. i weighed another pair of gloves that were 16oz and they were in fact 16. Not sure why these weighed 13.2 ounces.

They have very thick padding and are soft just as it says. My problem is that I can barely fit my hands into these gloves. I almost feel like i am going to cut off circulation if I wear them too long. And that's not even with hand wraps on. If I used hand wraps I wouldn't be able to fit my hand into the glove. My hands are just above average size but I was surprised at how tight they were compared to my pair of contender bag gloves, If you have smaller hands then these are good gloves

What I needed

This are my first pair of boxing gloves. So I am a beginner and I do not know much about them compared to other gloves. I am a female. 6ft 155lbs . Someone told me I needed more oz or else it was going to hurt however all the female gloves I looked at were 8-10-12 oz I have large hands but slender. I just needed these to heavy bag train. I like them so far. They do what I need. It's been a month I use them three times a week or more and they are in good shape..

If your hands hurt easily these are the gloves for you

I love to box but sometime if I spend too many hours on the heavy bag my hand or should I say my Knuckles begin to hurt,, a friend told me about these gloves so I went on Amazon and I was so happy they had them, now I can bang out for hours on the heavy bag before they start to bother me, I would definitely recommend them to anyone would who spent a lot of time hitting the heavy bag

Gloves are light weight compared to my 16 oz bag gloves. Have lots of padding and inexpensive. Can't say anything on durability seen iv'e only had them a few weeks.

Good gloves

Is my first time doing this review s***! These boxing gloves are a good pair of gloves!!! I use them for my heavy bag and fir sparing. I think they better then everlast gloves
