Used in emergency generator interlock
The cord is visible at the top of this photo going into the emergency generator interlock. I used this in my building of an emergency generator interlock which will enable me to power my house from my Honda eu2000i in case of a power outage. The cord is very heavy and bulky to work with - I bought this heavy of a cord to minimize any risk of wire overloading - but it was probably a little overkill. I also the orange cap on Etsy as a safety device to cover the plug blades in case of accidental energizing outside of the outlet.

Electric cable
This appears to be a high quality cable assembly. Heavy gauge for carrying large currents safely. Good price.

Great cord but short. 6ft option would be better
Adding an outside EV Charger plug. Used the cord to run from an indoor plug to connect the end to a exterior wall outlet box. The shorter 4ft cord left me with fewer options as to how far I could locate to the outside outlet box. preferred an "RV" cord over an appliance cord

Carries the rated current without overheating
I gave 4 stars for durability because I have only had it for a few weeks. I might need to revisit the evaluation in a year. I gave 5 stars for value for the money. This was the best value I could find. Stretch? How in the dickens can a 50 amp power cord stretch? Flexibility is definitely a five and the jacket remains flexible even in a cold morning. Overall, I rated this cord 5 stars. It carries the load, is not too stiff to roll out when the power company fails to provide power and I deem the jacket to be durable.

Did not stand up in cold weather!
I purchased this to replace the power cord on my Class A motorhome. I was somewhat concerned when it arrived as it felt too "plasticky," for lack of a better term, and I was concerned about the flexibility of the cord. Easy to Install got only 2 stars due to the small size of the bay for my power cord on my motorhome, not due to the cord itself. I was working in very tight quarters and it was difficult to install. My main problem with this cord was when we had a snap snowstorm here in Missouri and our power went out. I went outside to the motorhome and fired up the generator. I unplugged the cord from the outlet on my house so I could plug it into the outlet for the generator in the power bay. The cord was so stiff from the cold that it *cracked* completely around the black outer insulation. The crack was about 1 foot back from the male plug end of the cord. I plugged the cord back into my house outlet 2 days ago when it was warm outside. The cord was again flexible, but I could see the insulation cracked all the way around the circumference of the cord. I plugged it in, turned on the breaker, and have no power to the motorhome. I checked the 70A breaker in my breaker box and it was OK. I checked the 50A breaker in my outside RV power box and it was OK. Now I'm concerned that the inner strands of the cable also cracked from the cold, and I'm afraid to run power through the cable due to the possibility of a short circuit. I suppose if you are in the deep south where you don't have to worry about cold temperatures making the cord too stiff to use, you would be OK, but this cord is completely insufficient for Missouri. And of course, since I purchased in September, before it was cold, I am now outside the "return period" for this cord. I'll be looking for another cord from a different manufacturer.

Price was good.
Would be nice if they would put two male 50amp 120/240 volt heads on instead of just the one.
