Good replacement bands for PT
I wanted to replace a medium strength band I was given for physical therapy on frozen shoulder. I needed at least 5 foot length & most available were too short. This was 6 feet so I cut off a foot, but otherwise worked fine. The PT one was hypoallergenic (no latex) and the oder of these was a bit strong, but I store in zip lock bag when not in use so it is manageable. I initially agreed with some who said the blue & green bands seemed comparable in resistance, but while I can use the blue band on some exercises I had done previously with my old "green" band, others clearly required me to stay with the new green band, so I do believe the blue band has greater resistance - but not extremely more. I loved these were long enough to knot to create hand holds and still work to go around door knobs and provide tension needed for PT exercises. Would buy again, though the latex odor is irritating (& clearly they would not work if one is allergic!)

Durable!!!
I am a Pilates instructor and have used these bands in my studio group and private classes for years! They are very high quality. I wipe them down with an essential oil based cleaner after each use with just a cotton washcloth to keep them sanitized between clients and allow them to hang dry naturally over a wooden rod. I monitor the bands regularly and set aside any that get small tears. I usually cut off the bad part and set the remaining long part for other use. I get several years use out of each band...very good brand!

Very Happy with These Bands
They are genuine latex so if you’re allergic to latex you’ll want to steer clear. That said, I really feel that Latex fitness bands are superior to the non-Latex variety. I’ve been a regular exerciser for over 45 years and I can feel the difference. The end feel is softer, though not easier, especially with the heavier band. This allows for a better workout. Rule of thumb is to never extend a band by more than an additional 30% of its length. Doing so puts excess wear and tear on the band. If you need to do that in order to get a good workout you need a heavier band. Stott is a great name brand.

I purchased an exercise dvd that came with a "piece of crap" exercise band (provided by "Anchor Bay Entertainment"). It was always stuck together even after spreading powder on it. I spent 15 minutes (or longer) after each workout unpeeling it. What a joke! I hated it! It was a "blessing in disguise" when my cat ripped a hole in it. That's when I found YOUR bands and read some great reviews. Stott Pilates Flex-Bands are long enough to perform all my Pilates exercises. I noticed when I was shopping around and reading the online reviews, MANY falsely advertise their bands as being a particular length when, in fact, they are not. Your description of your bands are accurate and I appreciate that. I use my band daily. The pack I purchased came with two and I love them both. I am a very satisfied customer and I would definitely order from you again AND recommend you to all my friends. Thank you!!!

Tall enough for me- 5'10"
OMG I am so glad I finally found this product! I love doing the 10 minute workout series DVD's, and a lot of them have band workouts for strength training, Pilates, etc. But my bands were probably 10 years old and they have all broken. I contacted the DVD maker, but they were not able to point me towards replacements. I am 5'10" and the bands that I was finding in the stores were just way too short for me. So I was bummed not to be able to do my DVD's. But then I found these and they fit the bill perfectly! I can do my workout DVD's again- hooray!

Excellent product, worth the money.
Decent quality and great length. I am just shy of 6ft tall and I have absolutely no problems with positions that require foot holds with arm stretches beyond the head. It's a latex type of plastic and the two colours offer the perfect amount of elasticity in them for beginner/intermediate levels, possibly higher. I recommend you purchase the Stott body sculpting DVD to compliment this. A great workout. The only negatives are the temporary plastic odor when you first unwrap it (vanishes after a couple of days), also it does tend to pick up any spec of anything from the floor - but straightforward to wipe down. Hope this helps.

Perfect for Pilates
These are of excellent quality. Of the 2 bands, one is of higher tension for a harder workout and each band is well marked as to which carries the greater tension. I had tried other bands and some were so thin they would constantly stick together. I've tried others that were not long enough to do Pilates workouts which require you to stand on the middle of the band and raise your arms above your head. These are nice and long and can be used for any workout. There is a slight rubbery odor, but it subsides after using these for a while. Nice bands but very latex-y smell
I purchased these bands to use with my Stott Pilates DVDs. While they seem like nice bands and come with some exercises, they have a very strong latex smell and "dust" about them. I was a little surprised about this, although perhaps I should not have been, but they left this weird feel to my hands, much like wearing latex gloves. I hope that this will dissipate with continued use (I've only used them once so far), but I am not going to hold my breath.

Good quality, questionable resistance
A useable band, very long which is a huge plus, but they provide only a small amount of resistance. Even the blue extra strength band is comparable to the lightest strength band in most band packs. Also slightly expensive

This was good value as you get the two levels of resistance in the same pack. I'm still only using the green one. The bands are long and wide so easy to use.

These bands seem to be of good quality... the two strengths are noticeable. The green one is easy to use whereas the blue one really creates a challenge when working out. I hope they last .
