Seems to be working!

The cats are much calmer, and today all 3 of them took a nap on the bed together. Calling that a win over the fighting they were doing.

Usually works well in beginning, effects fade over time

My vet’s office has these plugged in above every exam table and my cats have never been more relaxed and docile at exams before. I started using them at home years ago after my orange boi had his first round of cystitis. Initially, they worked really well. I wrote the date I installed them on both the diffuser and the refill so I’d know when to change them. However, after a couple of years of running three of them at a time (in less than 700sq feet), I realized they no longer had the same efficacy. They also have a tendency to get really messy, especially if you plug anything in above it. That oil gets on everything next to it). I now only use them for short periods of intense stress, like moving or during cystitis flare ups. There’s a noticeable improvement when using them that way, at least for the first few weeks. After a few months, I don’t notice any improvement at all. Unnecessary side note: I did use these when I lived with my ex years ago. One day, I got home a little bit earlier than he did after work. Changed out the oil cartridge, but other than that, did absolutely nothing else. He came home maybe 30m after I did so and remarked on how “fresh” everything smelled, he thought I had cleaned up lol so apparently it also works on moderately feral, now ex-boyfriends. YMMV :)

They changed the design

I have been using this brand for about 2 years, if not longer. I've noticed that the new plug design now leaves a residue up the wall. They work for my two cats that stopped getting along but not happy about the mess they are making. I still have some of the old plugs and use them without issue.

Stopped post-move anxiety in my cat

I bought this in sheer desperation after a cross-country move with my cat. He’s generally a pretty friendly guy and had never peed on anything before. We moved into a new house and he was clearly super anxious and withdrawn, not eating well, very jumpy. I tried calming treats, keeping him in his own room with his toys and bed at first, everything. Nothing worked. I bought these diffusers after his second time peeing in and destroying a $300 suitcase in one week. Plugged them in, didn’t expect much. Within about a half hour he came out to hang out with us and within the same day he was back to his old self. Ate all his dinner, started socializing with us again, and has not peed on anything since. They may not work for all cats, but definitely worth a shot if you’re at your wit’s end like I was. I wish they had a version of this for humans, lol.

Seems to help

We have a female spayed cat that has tail issues. At times it seems like to her that her tail is not part of her and she flops it around and attacks it repeatedly. I keep one of these plugged in 24/7 in the area where we have the cat tree and cat toys and it seems to lessen these occurrences. Anything that helps her with this struggle I am thankful for so I'm on the second set. One container lasts just about a month. Heating element/holder has to be replaced after about 5 containers have been run through it.

Seems to work faster than the other brand.

I have used the Feliway brand and now this. This product seems to actually work very well. It is also far more cost effective than Feliway. I have 5 cats, 2 that recently joined the household due to a passing of a relative. Amazing how easy the integration went.

If you know this product works for your cat(s) then get it here on amazon. I almost purchased this product at petco and for two of them it was 50 bucks. But on amazon you can get three diffusers and 6 refills for $70. A huge savings!!!! I bought this because my roommate moved in with his cat and needless to say my cat has not taken a liking to the new cat. I was hoping this product would help cause I installed three in our 1100sqft condo. Sadly it does not seem to have provided any relief for her anxiety. This product may have no helped my situation but that doesn't mean it couldn't help yours.

Good price, it really works, from a former skeptic!

UPDATE: We have now been using these for 4 months. We didn’t know if it was actually making much of a difference. However, we can actually tell by the cat’s behavior when the bottles run low. They start getting a little more angsty toward one another. Another thing I have just noticed is this. We have one kitty that will have little pukes. She doesn’t throw up at all when the comfort zone is going. Once it gets low, and the pheromones are running out, she starts again. Leading me to believe, this puking she does is nervous tummy. She has had all kinds of checks to try to figure out why she pukes, to no avail. We have come to the conclusion that this stuff really does work. We won’t be without it again. We have two running, both in places that will make sure it covers the house. I hope my update helps. ***Original review**** We have tried another brand of this. One that everyone talks about and had no luck with it. We have 10 cats and 3 that cause issues at times. The problem is this. We have an Alpha male (Castiel) he tries to keep everyone in line. A naughty girl that likes to cause issues (Lilith.. I suppose, what did we expect was going to happen ????????‍♀️) and a younger (little over a year old) wanna be Alpha female (Freija). Lilith likes to pick at one cat (she has now chosen to pick at Freija) and Castiel, comes to everyone’s rescue. Freija deals with this by hunkering down and growling. This is apparently Castiel’s bane. He will then jump on Freija and anyone that tries to help her, or just happens to be in the way. It doesn’t last long, and it’s never super serious, however, it could get that way. Freija is a Norwegian Forest Cat.. so BIG! Castiel and Lilith’s (along with their siblings whom we also have) mom was Siamese. They have that Siamese cattitude ????????‍♀️ We decided to go ahead and give this a try. It said it had more hormone and worked better than it had in the past. It is also less expensive than the other one. We got them, (3 warmers and 6 refills) plugged them in (one at each end of the house and one in the middle). It didn’t seem to work. Then, we noticed around day 3 that although there were still some little arguments now and then; they were less frequent and duration cut down. Here’s the kicker and how I know the warmers are what are helping. A few days ago, we had a big scuffle happen. Everyone was being nasty all day. I told my husband, “well, maybe they were just being quiet for a bit”. Then I thought it may be time to change the refills. I went and looked, and sure enough, they were empty. I put the new refills in and on day two, everyone was back to mostly harmony. Here is the sum up. I was really ready to say ... ya.. I just can’t believe in this stuff. But, this really does work. The arguments don’t completely stop. But they are allot less frequent. I’m going to purchase 3 more warmers and make sure we have refills always. I do hope this sincere review helps others make up their minds. This stuff has really helped our 10 cats.

It works!

I have a cat who is prone to bladder infections when stressed. He tends to be grumpier and more territorial regarding the other male cat. I bought this to try to help ease tensions. I have noticed a huge difference immediately. Instead of aggressive fighting, hissing or chasing each other I’ve noticed the boy cats wrestling quite a few times without hissing and even taking submissive playful stances. It’s expensive but worth it.
