Affordable and Sturdy

I have a variety of growlers which I regularly use for various fermented beverages, which I make in my home kitchen. While these delicious beverages are quite fun to make, and share with others, they also can be very difficult to contain, and to capture the carbon dioxide produced in fermentation. In fact, I have literally had explosions in my kitchen, when a vessel was not strong enough to contain the exuberance! So because I was in need of several more when making a large batch of ginger beer for a conference, I went ahead and bought four of these to try out. They are in fact, wonderful containers, easy to use, easy to clean, and they don’t break or explode. Definitely a good value in my book, and I plan to purchase more.

works for second ferment of Water Kefir

So I wanted to get away from glass bottles because I recently had one explode on me for several reasons. I wanted to try this product to see if I could get carbonation. Last night I bottled my water Kefir and placed in the fridge. This was the second day of the second fermentation. This morning when I checked the bottle CO2 escaped when I opened it up. GOOD SIGN. I will check the bottle once a day since keeping it cool tends to slow down active fermentation. The seal is good and tight. I just ordered a second bottle.

Adequate for what we paid

I had no idea growlers were as expensive as they are! I did not want to spend the money on a "fancy" one when I really just needed it to transport beer. I got one for myself and one for my son. Once it is opened the beer goes flat if you don't drink it soon. That may be true of all growlers or may just be this inexpensive one, I'm not sure.

leakproof, but paint flakes off

I should have gone with the stainless steel instead of the painted black; the black paint flakes off in my dishwasher. Functionally it's perfect, but if I'd known the black would come off I'd have just gone with stainless steel to begin with.

These are so nice! The store the beer perfectly with a lovely seal. Easy to open and close. And they look so nice! Recommend!

Excellent means to keep beer carbonated for days

great growler for beer. Carbonation lasts for 5 to 7 days which is much better than even my Orca screw top growler could provide. Looks great and keeps beer fresh. Highly recommend this affordable and stylish product.

pesima calidad la parte del logo con laser tiene un pequeño orificio se sale el liquido :( y creo que no conserva el gas por mucho tiempo aparte.
