Cheap net :Lots of Fun

One has to understand you get what you pay for.This net is CHEAP. I have bought one every year for about eight or nine years. The plastic rings that secure the net break easy,I replace then as they braek with string..I know what I bought,i know what to expect,I hit balls almost dayly and at the end of the year it cost me under $40.00, not counting the string ! All in all it is a great buy.

Held up well

I bought this to replace the original purchase ten years ago. It's great for driving golf balls in the back yard. Replacement was necessary when a cold spell followed a rain storm. Some of the plastic rings cracked and broke due to the increased weight of the drape from the rain and the effect of the cold weather on the plastic rings.

Fantastic value for money, perfect for my use

Great net, does exactly what you would expect a golf net to do, and very reasonably priced. The top bar that holds the net up is effectively just a long modular flexible tent pole, with sharp points at each end, so for outdoor use you just bend the bar down at each end and push the points into the dirt. You can bend it more or less to make the net higher/narrower, or lower/wider. For indoor use (carpet, concrete etc) there is a modular metal base which the top bar ends plug into - it works fine, it's not strong or thick metal but it does the trick. So far (limited use) the net works fine with both practice balls and real ones, (including with a driver), but of course you should set it up safely so that if a ball did happen to go through it wouldn't hit the wife, or even worse the family dog. Just common sense. I'm using the Calloway HX practice balls which are heavy enough to feel good off the club but won't kill anyone. I use mine on the small deck/verandah of a city apartment (!!) so I threw away the base, and mounted two 6" lengths of PVC pipe vertically against the walls on opposite sides of the deck so the top bar can plug into each one, then can easily be removed and folded down for storage. Setup and pulldown only takes a few mins. I don't expect this thing to last 20 years but for the money, it's fantastic. FORE!!!

Net works for it's intended use, cheap and 'cheap'.

I've been using these quik nets since about 1998. I've had about 10 of them by now. The first one I purchased lasted me about three seasons until the lawn mower got to it. The second one seemed to be of diminished quality in terms of net thickness and quality. This continued with each subsequent net. BUT the price keeps coming down. So now I expect a season's use out of these things and compare the price to buckets at the range. I have two properties and have one at each. The net is ideal for any club in your bag, save maybe a lofted wedge that will clear the surface. But as I said, as quality is down, I drove a hole through last years net within a week since I was working hard on my driver. This net will probably hold any drive that would get out to 250 yards, but if you're a longer driver, you'll end up driving it through the net. Hence the frequent replacments. All in all, this is the best net I can find. Just wish they'd make them better even if the price went up. Hear that Club Champ?????

Use at a park or field!

NEW GOLFERS, don’t expect to put this up in your back yard and have no balls fly over the fence and hit your neighbors house! Because when you slice the shot it will miss the net! This net is mainly for when you have learned how to hit straight and get above the noob level. Learn from my mistakes! I’m not saying don’t buy this for beginner experience, just plan on taking it to a park/field for the first couple of weeks. But it’s a great product, kinda hard to stick in the ground, and mine came with a stand but it makes no sense.

Not for strong hitters, does not work indoors.

My son is a golfer. He’s 6 so not that hard of a swing. It stood up great the first two times I put it I. The backyard. My husband took a swing and knocked it back pretty far. The third time we put it up it kept falling over. If you have a hard ground back yard this is not for you. You need to push each end into the ground far enough to make it stable. Our ground was not as moist that day and it was hard to push in. We tried the indoor structure that came with it. That was not built right so it didn’t even help.... the angles were wrong and made it lay flat on the ground. It needs a T bar to go to the top of the middle... would I recommend this again. Only for outdoor use and no hard hitting so maybe only toddlers and small kids. Anyone who hits hard don’t get this

Ok with Foam balls

Great concept and design. However, the product is under engineered for real golf balls, the net will not hold up. My solution was reengineer the framing and double net it. if I had a do over I would have spent more money on a sturdier unit.

Very easy to setup and take down, also portable. My golf swing improved drastically after just a few weeks of using this. Highly recommend.

OK if you have limited space

I bought this to practice at home. It's rather flimsy in the wind but works OK.

It does the job.

I've had it installed for over a week now and it is holding up well. When spiked in the ground, the net shrinks to about 6'H x 9'W, so that's a minor disappointment.

Saved my game.

After barely playing for 15 years, I joined a men’s league this year to get back into it. For the first 4 weeks I was suffering, hitting between 110-120 and was the laughing stock of my foursome. I found this net on Amazon and loaded up a ton of YouTube videos. Yesterday, shot a 42 for 9 holes. This net works great and saved my game. Easy to set up and take down and seems perfectly durable and large enough to catch shots ranging from driver to 9-iron from 6-8 feet out.

Surprisingly efficient - great buy all around!

That’s net installs easy - Easier than another golf net that I purchased a few years ago. It really does the job and at that price you can’t beat it!
