hard to remove
this cup holder does the job- But when I need to fold down my bench seat, I find it very hard to remove it. I have to remove the cut part, and the part that clicks into the seat. maybe there’s a trick i’m unaware of

I would not recommend any of those top-heavy bottles (like with character lids)
OK, so I'll admit it took me awhile to figure how to install this thing properly. My first few attempts were when we first installed the car seats and when we had to go on a long road trip. Neither times worked and led to a lot of frustration and annoyance with Clek. I finally took a closer look and realized the reason the adapter kept popping back out - there is a thin, long slot on the underside of the hole. The adapter has a thin long part that needs to be inserted in that slot. Also, the tab should be lifted up to help it hook into the big hole. If that makes sense. It seems really obvious, but I think the drawn instructions really don't point those two details out well. As for the actual upholder itself, it looks a little bit small and shallow. We use Camelbak Eddy and Thermos Funtainer for drinks. Both fit, the Cambelbak perfectly. Anything bigger would not fit. I would not recommend any of those top-heavy bottles (like with character lids), because ether would easily topple over/out. I have to agree with previous reviewers, with the HEFTY price of a Clek to begin with, the upholder should be included and not have to be nickel-and-dimed to make an extra buck. Seriously, $25-ish for a upholder is outrageous. But my daughter was already used to the built-in-cupholder she had on her previous car seat (Maxi Cosi Pria). If the price weren't so ridiculous, I'd buy her 2, one for drinks and one for snacks, since we do 6+ hr road trips quite often. And I have to think about getting the baby one for his Clek when he's a bit older.

It works fine for forward facing installation as a no frills cup holder.
It will work fine in forward facing positions. Simple cup design. Installing is easy. The item is pricy. In rear facing positions the seatbelt (if you are using that method of attachment) interferes with a secure attachment of the drink thingy. Installing the drink thing when the seat is facing forward is secure and easy. Placement. For my child, the placement for his reach is good. Simple cup design with no additional means to secure an item within it. This is fine for shorter cups and beverages but not very suitable for larger and taller items. Installation is easy. The kit comes with two brackets to hold the cup holder in place. One for the right side and the other for the left side. Simply insert the appropriately marked bracket into the corresponding seat belt pass through hole on the side, insert the tab into the hole and snap into place, and attach the cup. For a cup with all these design limitations I found the price a bit high. I was surprised that for such an expensive premium seat that this was not included. The pieces are relatively complex and since two brackets are included the molds to make them were probably not cheap and being an expensive seat, Clek is probably not selling to many to offset the cost to produce them, and with the price as it is, I imagine many Clek owners would choose to do without, further exacerbating the issue. I believe Clek could have fixed this by foregoing the brackets and mounded the two cup attachment points directly onto the shell of the seat.

10 seconds to install. Matches Foonf perfectly.
10 seconds to install. Matches Foonf perfectly. I'm not sure why any of the other reviews mentioned it being difficult to install. I can't comment on the instructions because I never looked at them. It literally takes ten second to install if you consider the obvious: -the bracket that accepts the drink cup itself must obviously have the drink cup clip "down" into it so that it can hold a cup of liquid, so there's only one obvious orientation for it -there are two brackets that come with the cup, one for each side of the seat, since both only have one possible "up" orientation, it's just a matter of which one fits the shape of the side you're trying to install it on (they are not symmetrical) -there is a little tab on the bracket that gets inserted into a slot in the car seat that you would never notice unless you are looking for it, just look from below (or remove your seat from the vehicle and tip it on its side), you simple insert that tab and press the bracket into the oblong hole in the side of the seat. It looks great, matches the white plastic of our foonf perfectly and doesn't look like an afterthought or something that will attract the attention of a toddler to try to mess with it. I agree with others that it should be a little cheaper (it should be ~$10 not ~$20) but it's not that bad when you consider it costs less than 5% of the price of the Foonf. I was worried that it would be too low and out of the way for our 2 year old to reach, it is not.

Solution to my problem!
I purchased a new car that was larger than the last one so there was now room for cup holders. My Clek Fllos were expensive, so did not want to purchase new car seats just for the cupholders. This was the perfect solution. Took a little bit of time to figure out how they went on, but once on they are very sturdy and strong. Would highly recommend purchasing these.

... product stating that it falls off the carseat too easy. This has not been my experience
I've read some reviews on this product stating that it falls off the carseat too easy. This has not been my experience. If you put it on correctly the cupholder is as sturdy as a clip on holder can be. We've used this in my wife's car for the past two months and it's fallen off once when my 2 year olds foot hit it when putting him in the carseat. You need to make sure the notch is lined up correctly and if a seatbelt is being used, it is through the slot flat. I would give 5 stars if the cup holder was built into the carseat. However, if that was the case, I wouldn't be writing a review on the product. Therefore 4 stars is the highest rating I can give.

It’s alright.
It’s fine, considering how well made and sturdy the car seats are this thing isn’t clipped on with the same caliber. It’s quite easy to knock loose. Otherwise it does the job. Seems like it was a bit of an afterthought tho. It’s like a cup holder on a European car.

Love it!
I have one for both car seats! Great for longer trips to let kids have access to their water! Easy set up and removal if required and fits on outside of car seats so middle seat is still usable in our car!

Great product!
Convenient size, fits most kids drink containers. Easy to install. Don’t forget to remove it before folding down the seat beside... it sticks out pretty far and can be knocked off.
