Great if your on a budget
This is great for a new classroom teacher on a budget. It costs so much to set up a room and this is perfect for a book display or for your read alouds. It won't last forever but it will get you through a few years until you can purchase a sturdier version.

HOW-TO Construct 10-slot Mailbox (mixed Q&A/reviews/ratings between Bookshelf and 10-Slot Mailbox!)
My ratings assume you locate the instructions, read and understand below, view the video, or have great spatial awareness WITH handyman skills/experience.. I believe this 10-slot mailbox (and Construction Paper Storage Center) is reasonably sturdy. It's unfortunate that Amazon (or the manufacturer?) has chosen to mix bookshelf and 10-slot-mailbox, re Q&A, and reviews/ratings. This makes the ratings useless. Re Q&A, cannot always tell whether discussing bookshelf or 10-slot-mailobox. Re instructions: I just opened a previously-ordered 10-slot-mailbox, which came with no instructions. Fortunately, I recently assembled, the similar, "Classroom Keeper Construction Paper Storage Center" (i.e., 12"x18"), which included instruction page. On THAT product's webpage, the 5th/bottom photo (approximately extreme left-top of the webpage), is a video showing how to construct either of the two items (but NOT the Bookshelf), and with careful viewing, I believe it provides all you need to know. 1) close rear of box, 2) insert small piece vertically in box as shown (bending both top/bottom of small piece in 2 directions, to provide snug fit of the piece running up-to-down within the box), 3) THEN, close sections of the box in front (top and bottom) that will tend to hold-in-place, that smaller middle section. 4) One at a time,,(starting from either top of bottom shelf insert and moving toward other end) add each (of the 4) shelf-inserts (which you also fold at each end before inserting), folding in (as you go) the side inserts that are now 'surrounded, by 2-shelves, or shelf and top or bottom. The side fold-in's add support so that each shelf will be a snug-fit

What I needed it to be for the price
I hesitated in buying this because of some reviews saying it was difficult to assemble and flimsy. I went ahead and got it because of the price. While I was a little unsure of putting it together because I was afraid of breaking it, my husband easily put it together in just a few minutes. It has been perfect for me. I use it to store some classroom novels for my class library. My books are small and light, so it has held up well. I teach secondary, so I could see it not standing up to daily elementary use, but it has worked well for me. I am considering buying a second one to have space for more books.

Perfect for greeting card holder at arts fair-YouTube video on assembly available
Ordered this from Amazon Warehouse for $14. Listing read that there was an imperfection on the side...I didn't find any perfections. I always try Amazon warehouse first for deals. However...NO instructions came with this, and it wasn't intuitive. Then I googled, "How to Assemble a Classroom Keepers Bookshelf" and boom, the company has a 1 minute video on YouTube on how to assemble it, and it was so easy after watching this assembly video. Yes, it is cardboard, and won't last for years, but it is perfect for an upcoming arts and crafts show where I am a vendor selling my watercolor art. This holds greeting cards perfectly. Takeaway...once again Amazon Warehouse came through, and I received exactly what I ordered, and with a little extra effort to find a video, I love it. YouTube is great for finding videos on assembling so many things.

Purchased for a vendor fair
I bought this to display my books at a vendor fair and was very glad I did. It kept my books upright, organized, and at an eye-catching height. At first, the cardboard felt a little flimsy, but it was very sturdy once assembled.

Great teacher tool
I am using this mailbox in my 6th grade classroom for past 2 years. They are very sturdy, and holds well. It's made out of cardboard, so I wasn't sure how they will hold overtime. I waited 2 years to see if they are durable. I can tell now that they will definitely last for so many more years to come. Very convenient to put all my classwork/homework for upcoming week. Must have for the teacher who likes to be organized.

Does it's purpose
The media could not be loaded. I used this product for a book signing and it performed well. It did what it stated it would do: hold books. That being said: is this a prize-winning bookshelf? NO. Is it going to last years: NO. But's it's sturdy enough to last awhile, depending on how you treat it. It's cardboard. It bends easily so you must treat it with care. The assembly was a bit confusing, but once I figured it out, all the parts fit into the right slots and it worked. I've set it up and broken it down five times and it's still holding strong, though I'm not sure how much longer it will continue to do so as I don't think it was meant to be broken down and set up on multiple occasions. For costing around twenty dollars, one can't expect a whole lot. Take my review with a grain of salt, but know that it worked for me and I would recommend it. You can see in the picture that it doesn't take up an immense amount of space. The table was 6' in length and fit nicely in the corner. Broken down, the two parts lay completely flat and fit in the bottom of my largest suitcase, but I doubt it would fit in anything smaller (didn't fit in my medium-sized luggage).

Not great quality
Cheap quality, some parts ripped easily on assembly, and one part was bent. Would not repurchase.

Dont waste money, it's a cardboard box
Obviously I didnt know what Pacon was, so I was expecting a wood shelf, and its cardboard. Also it did not come with any assembly instructions. It's so very flimsy and I do not expect this to last very long at all. Especially with a 3 years old. Save your money people, this was a waste. I'm so disappointed. I built it to the best of my ability without instructions, it's not durable.
