A must have
The straps are rather unsightly but then again, so is a busted TV. That is the only reason I deducted a star. This following will be a bit confusing since both the furniture the TV sits on and the legs used to mount the TV are technically both called a stand (according to their packaging) but bear with me. The universal TV stand I have (also on Amazon) has rather wobbly legs, making me nervous the set would topple over. I was able to attach the straps to both stands with the same screws. As seen in pics 1 & 2, the top of the straps were attached with the tabletop stand screws and the bottoms of the straps were attached to the furniture TV stand using its screws as shown in pic 3. Although the straps came with its own hardware, I did not need any of them. This product is a life saver, as our TV has already been accidentally bumped numerous times without falling over. At worst when bumped, the TV stand legs moved a couple of inches but the straps held everything in place.

Plastic piece: Not strong enough
The ends are made up of plastic and it’s very weak. You can twist the plastic piece with a pinky. I don’t think it is going to take the weight of the tv. I ended up returning it.

Perfect If you don't want to mount the tv on the wall
We bought the Kidco Anti-Tip TV Straps as an easy way to ensure our 55" flat screen television didn't accidentally get tipped over from our toddler. She started to walk and go over the tv so to keep her safe we decided to purchase this. I was really surprised how easy the installation was, and it really keeps the tv in place. I tried to pull the tv after and it feels very secure. The straps come with two sets of screws and anchors for the walls and two sets of bolts for the back of the tv. Which is perfect for pretty much most tvs. I only mention that because Some reviews mentions screws being too short or two long. I didn't have any issue with them. Pro: they're great and is good piece of mind. Con: well the only thing I can think of is you better be 100% sure that you know where you want to have the tv in the room. Because if you are someone whom like to rearrange the living room often well prepare to have a bunch of holes on the wall. Lol Update: Almost a year later the straps hold very well, we haven't had any accident which is great. They still feel pretty solid.

It does the job. I’d recommend something stronger for little kids but this will work.
It’s just what I needed. My girls tv ison an old dresser. It scares me that or might fall as they try to open the drawers. They are old enough that it’s more to protect them and the tv than for a little kid. It does the job I need it for. It’s not the greatest and if you need it so a little kid doesn’t knock it over I recommend something a little heavier duty. My kids are 11 and 14 and this was for a 32” tv. Like I said it works but it was more because the drawers stick and we didn’t want the tv to fall if they had to mess with a drawer. ALWAYS ALWAYS ANCHOR FURNITURE AND TVS. Especially with little children. I’ve had a friends child die because a tv fell on them.

Screws weren’t long enough to install on TV
These straps are fine but the screws they came with to install to the back of the TV weren’t long enough (ones top left in photo) so I had to go to the hardware store and buy longer ones, which was annoying. Maybe they would be fine for your TV though, who knows.

KIT INCOMPLETE!
I just opened this product and all that was in the box was one single strap. Nothing else on the parts list pictured was included. I waited to open it until we got our new TV stand and the return window has now closed. NOT IMPRESSED! If KidCo is reading this I would appreciate a new, complete kit please! If I could select no stars I would.

I shoulda bought this sooner!
I decided to buy this after one of my foster kittens knocked over my TV and broke it. Strap is very sturdy, the instructions are straightforward, installation was relatively easy (even considering the fact that I’m not great with tools). This product is a must for anyone with children or pets.

Works perfectly and easy to install!
I am very happy with this! It was very easy to install ( screws into the tv holes that are already there then I just had to drill into the tv stand to secure the bottom ) Now when we talk by the tv it doesn't wobble and I don't have to worry about the baby knocking it over!

These look like a good idea
These look like a good idea, and then I realized in order to attach them I would have to drill into the tv stand which I wasn't prepared to do. Alternatively, could attach to the wall, and that wasn't going to work either so I returned them with no problem. They did arrive quickly and my daughter has a set and loves them
