These are awesome and versatile!
We bought these to roll up all our linens and bedding for our camper. They are perfect ! Easy to adjust . Very durable and versatile! So pleased, i ended up buying several packs!

NOT a quick release buckle!
These are NOT a quick release, snap-together Fastex-style buckle. They are a "belt" style "thread through" buckle. Only a single buckle on one end of the strap (so nothing to "snap" together or "quick release"). You thread the loose end under and through one narrow slot opening then over the center bar and down through the loop on the other side. NOT quick. "Quick-release" are the type you find on backpack waist belt straps. Snap the male and female ends on the respective strap ends to join. Squeeze the male side prongs together and they come apart. These are even worse than a men's dress belt which has a single loop and a prong to fit into the belt holes. At least there you only have to thread the belt through one very wide slot then insert the tongue into the right belt hole. Here, you have to thread the webbing up through one narrow slot then back down and out through the other narrow slot. Not something to do quickly. To make things worse there is a little tab on the exit side of the strap buckle. This is to help angle the strap so it will slide looser (this tab is how the manufacturer gets by calling it "quick release"). Unfortunately if you use these as compression straps on broken luggage, during transit the "quick tab" can get caught against the floor, bulk head, or other luggage and loosen the strap. Not a problem for mere compression, a problem if you are using the straps to reinforce your bag or make up for a broken zipper on a duffel. I wish the description had been accurate and not misleading. There is nothing wrong with the quality or price, just the basic function. THE ONLY QUICK RELEASE BUCKLES ARE FASTEX-STYLE SNAP TOGETHER. _Threaded_ one-piece buckles are NEVER quick release, and the addition of a tab to assist loosened doesn't change them into quick release, nor does misleading manufacturing copy.

Perfect with one fix
These straps are really nice and do the job especially for the money. The only thing that I noticed about them was that at the end of the straps the material was hanging off, kinda like when you cut some paracord and the strands start to get messy. It’s an easy fix, just hold a lighter up to it for a couple of seconds to melt the material together so that the strands don’t come apart any further.

Handy multipurpose strap! (Black not green though)
Great straps, price was right. I had seen some in the store for $10 on clearance which was still too expensive, then found these on amazon. They hold tight assuming you thread the strap through the plastic keeper correctly. They are black, though pic makes them look dark green. These do not unclip like the buckle on a fanny pack, they are like the length adjustment type keeper on backpack shoulder straps, fine by me though if you are expecting a buckle type fastener, this isn't it. These do keep things compressed and haven't loosened on me. Strap can be shortened, cut to length, then use a lighter to melt the cut end a little to seal it (or use glue...probably safer to use glue). There is a little plastic end keeper to tuck extra strap into too which is nice, according to other reviews I think this is a newer addition to the strap. Long length(~46 in) very versatile, holds a air mattress rolled up, made a decent belt in an emergency situation (traveling and forgot one)... Handy to have!

Awesome value straps
For some reason, whenever my kids go camping, their sleeping bags' straps (and the straps on their sleeping pads) seem to vanish! I have purchased several pair of these Coghlan straps as replacements. They are very durable, as I have not had any get damaged. They hold tight when cinched through the buckles, holding the bag or pad tightly rolled. I cut off excess strap material from the ends because they are quite long. I also have not had a kid lose one of these straps yet :)

FINALLY
I have a ton of camping gear. My one problem with some of my older sleeping bags that I can't seem to part with is the straps for them are gone or so worn out they don't work anymore. These replacement straps are PERFECT! I kept using rope or paracord because I always have some with me when camping but then I always seem to need my rope back. These straps were plenty long enough to go around my Coleman sleeping bags I wanted them for. They are easy to adjust and secure well. Im just using them to store bags right now and only had them a couple weeks but perfect for what I needed.

Super solid and doesn’t undo while hiking! I love these straps!

great for what they are.
These straps are about what you'd expect for a sleeping bag strap, I bought one pair for my sleeping bag and another pair to put through strap loops on my rucksack. I don't know the weight capacity of these but I would guess that anything that would be too much for the strap to handle wouldn't be something you'd be using a simple strap like this for. Another reviewer said that they aren't "quick release tabs" but that is, in fact exactly what they are. He shouldn't give low marks because he doesn't understand the language. Overall I like these straps a heck of a lot more than the more expensive Durarest straps.

Square loops/Tubes???
I found the instructions difficult to follow but managed to tie them in the end. I only needed about 12 inches of strap, to fasten a tripod to my camera bag, and they cut and sealed very easily. I will be ordering another set just to carry in my camera bag for 'just in case'. Very good straps and buckles.

Works for use intended
Good price. Bought as an add-on item. These are basic 4 foot straps. However, at 3/4 inch wide, they are somewhat narrower than I had expected. I did not look for the description before they arrived. Previously purchased Coghlan straps were 1 inch wide. The product dimensions listed in the description are for the card the straps are attached to--not the straps themselves. The description of the item should be updated to actually describe the item not the packaging.

That'll do, pig... that'll do....
It's just a pair of straps... really nothing to get excited over. The price and free shipping is what did it for me though. The nylon strap itself seems plenty strong, but the buckles shouldn't be used for anything but their intended light duty use. They will certainly break otherwise. Odd thing is that in the package, the straps are held in that circular shape by a pin. Watch out for that.
