What’s the strap for then?!

Even with fitting the strap on tight enough the product still rotated some on its own. Pretty bright but not worth it in my opinion.

Not as bright as expected

Maybe I don’t understand lumens enough or was expecting too much, but this certainly isn’t bright enough to illuminate my 22” Blackstone griddle for cooking or cleaning. It was easy to install and sort of works. But it just isn’t bright enough. Another complaint is the On/Off is more of a virtual switch. It has no tactile feel so is far to easy to inadvertently turn it on and waste the batteries when closing the lid on the griddle. So, battery life sucks. I’ve used other small portable lights on previous grills that provide at least as much light, were more “direct able” as to where it shown and used less battery. I’ll be replacing this light with a more permanent option as it just doesn’t fill the bill.

Perfect light!

We love our grill light especially since it gets darker sooner. Lights up the whole grill and very easy to turn on or off!!

Light for occasional dark bbq

Instead of replacing an existing 12 volt bbq built in island light I clip this light onto the old gooseneck light arm and viola! Away from direct heat and works when I need it.

Works Great - Easy to attach and detach

My wife and I use our Weber Natural Gas Grill every week, 52 weeks a year. I used to buy the Weber grill light, and I bet I went through ten of them easy over the years. They are designed to be left attached year round, but let me tell you they rarely last more than one year !!! I gave up on them last year and decided that NO grill light works well when left on the grill handle permanently. I tried 2 different "clamp on when needed light" but the clamp housings were aluminum alloy and the screws steel. NOT a good combination, they both got stripped. THIS Char-Broil light is excellent - super bright - super quick and easy to attached (no screws), just elastic (silicone?) strap with holes punched. Much like putting on a belt. Very easy !! Got me through the whole winter. Highly recommend, but I would now leave it out in rain and/or snow. Good Luck !!!!

Cheaply made, ambiguous instructions, no light. The worst.

This is a Dollar Store kind of item. Absolutely unimaginable that anybody charge this kind of money for something so cheaply made. On top of this, the instructions are ambiguous to the point of being useless. When trying to determine if my light was defective or not, I had to try about a dozen different battery configurations simply because the diagram in the instructions does not clearly indicate which way the battery compartment goes in. Seems like such a small problem, but when you consider that the labelling for the batteries themselves is also unclear, it makes for an incredibly frustrating experience. In the end, I can only conclude that the light I received is defective because every variation of battery installation I have tried has failed. I’d normally be mostly okay with a defective product - it happens. But the time I’ve wasted trying all the different battery configurations has guaranteed that I will be returning this product for a refund, not an exchange. Cheaply made product, ambiguous instructions, and ultimately a light that doesn’t work. Amazon should really start allowing zero star reviews.

Buen producto pero la publicación tiene información equivocada.

Estuve haciendo comparaciones de varios productos y me convencí por este pues en la publicación se menciona en varias ocasiones que solo ocupa 2 pilas AAA y resulta que en realidad ocupa 3 AAA. Deberían revisar la información que se comparte en las publicaciones para evitar malos entendidos; se ve que es un buen producto; al llegar lo probé y funciona bien; no dudo que si me servirá pero definitivamente el tema de uso de baterias si me causa descontento.
