Great product

My neighbor had given me a free basketball hoop with a bent rim and torn nylon rope. I replaced the hoop and installed this stainless steel net. It is way nice. Just be prepared to have some large pliers on hand to close the S hooks onto the rim at each 12 points. Otherwise, it comes off with use. I used channel locks to make it pretty easy to close them.

Literally amazing!! One thing you’ll need is pliers to close the clasps, so don’t forget that or every time you shoot the ball, the net will fall!! 10/10

Amazing quality net, Very difficult to install!

This net is one of the most versatile products I've ever bought. I'm pretty sure they metal has an anti-rust coating on it because I never take it off during the winters and the quality has stayed the same. The metal itself is also very nice quality, you can tell by its thickness. The sound it makes when you get a swish is super satisfying. The only problem this net has is the difficulty in setting it up. I'm really handy with tools and fixing things and I must say this was quite a challenge. I had to use pliers to bend the metal hooks (that's how amazing the quality is!) by which you have to hang the net. However, just make sure you don't use the pliers directly on the metal as this may remove the anti-rust coating. I used a cloth or duct tape on pliers and then bent them. They're really hard to bend tbh, you're going to need a decent amount of strength! I didn't want to bend them too far because I want to be able to remove the mesh if I ever want to, but because of this, the net keeps coming off the rim. I bent them a little more recently and it helps. So, when you set it up, if you bend them a little more after hooking up the mesh to the rim, it won't come off. So summary is: Pros: -Quality/Durability -Price -Aesthetic -Sound Cons: -Difficult to set up -Part of the net sometimes comes off Overall, a good mesh that I recommend to everyone!

Great quality

This is a really good quality item. Very substantial and looks like it should withstand the elements. There are some reviews mentioning that it comes unhooked quite often...this can happen but all you need to do is quickly tighten where they clip on with some pliers - it's really easy to do. Overall I'd highly recommend this item.

Easy to install and super durable

I'm not exactly sure why but my teenage son really wanted to replace the net we had with a metal one like this. It wasn't an expensive upgrade to I figured why not. The replacement was pretty easy, though you will definitely benefit from a lightweight pair of pliers to crimp the ends - otherwise it will come unhooked really easily. Beyond that it's been up for a few months now getting almost daily use, and my son loves the satisfying sound it makes when the ball goes through. I think he is very happy with it.

Good value for the money.Remember it doesnt come w instructions and you have to use pliers to close the hooks on the hoop... other than that ...it is great ...love the chain sound when someone makes a basket! So much better than having to buy a new new mesh net every year!
