Great !
It's been fun . The kids and grandchildren love it. I wish it came with basic instructions. Such as how far the ball needs to hang ect . We had no 8dea . But know now we need to correct the problem of 'short rope syndrome'

Rope failing, hard ball
Within 41 days of this being delivered and 4.5 weeks of having this tetherball set up outside in the pacific northwest, I'm already having issues. The major issue is that the rope that's used the hold the rope onto the ball (which is kind of important) has already frayed on both ends with the ball end being the worst side. I have no idea how much longer this product is going to last, but my guess would be a couple more weeks until the ball goes flying off and hits an unsuspecting person. This should be an easy fix by buying some better rope, but it's certainly not something that I was expecting to, nor should have to do at the duration that it's been up. The second and less important issue is that the ball itself is showing serious signs of fading which I wouldn't expect in almost 6 weeks especially in the pacific northwest in the spring. The third issue is that the ball is pretty darn hard and the kids (and myself) have a difficult time hitting it. All in all, I'd recommend a softer ball with a better rope. Yes, you can replace the rope with a better one, but this should come with the kit already and save everyone the hassle.

Good "Kid Appreciation" and exercise too!!
OH MY GOSH!!! My granddaughters love this tether ball. My own kids recount stories of the family playing tether ball and now we have the tether ball in the middle of the driveway (portable) so even the neighborhood kids come over to play. The ball comes with about a 10 foot rope that you can cut to size. Some reviewers mention that it is too hard but the solution is to just inflate it a little less (softer) and the hard problem goes away! We bought a 1 1/2" electrical conduit from Home Depot for twelve bucks and drilled a hole in the driveway to concrete the pole in. As the concrete dried we kept turning the pole so it would not adhere to the concrete. When the concrete had set we removed the pole and now can put the pole in or take it out as needed. Don't buy the "Fence poles" as your tether ball pole, they cost twice as much! Youtube has many videos of how to concrete this into an old tire. The one we had when our kids were young we just dug a hole in the dirt in the backyard and it worked fine. The only other things we needed to make this perfect were an eye bolt screwed into the top of the pole and a "snap clip" so you can remove the ball and rope from the pole when you store it. Seriously, this total of 20 bucks for ball, pole, and clips was one of the best "kid appreciation" things we have ever purchased and it is good exercise for them, too!

The ball itself is great. The rope broke pretty quickly.
The rope broke pretty quickly.

The rope didn’t last long.
The actual ball is great, but the rope did not hold up at all for us.

So needed this
The media could not be loaded. Purchased this for very active dog, hung from small tree and he loves to play with it. Just what we needed to keep him busy during day

Outer surface to hard on hand.
Need softer outer skin but still tough as the dogs give it a beating.

Real deal!
Not your cheap dollar store stuff. This ball is the real deal. Brought me back to the old days in school yard. Don’t expect it to be soft on the hands...buy a beach ball for that.
