These are needed for ice- super for safety. Aside from being a great safety product for snow & ice… these run small- buy up one size!

Great ice cleats

Work great love just the front had spikes do you can tip-n-toe through the house without taking them off. Ordered four pair they last a few years each before they wear down. Great product

THESE HAVE ON ADVANTAGE OVER THE OTHERS

The one fact overlooked on ice cleats. This is the only unit that has NO cleats on the heal. For those who may have to go into the house for a minute you can walk on your heals so the cleats don't tear up you floor!!! All other brands have heal cleats and you have to take them off even for a momentary trip to get a cup of coffee while you are snowblowing. ITS SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT! I like these. They work well.

toxic "rubber"

I bought a pair of these in Vermont years ago (or a very similar-looking products) and they were great. This item is almost the same design, but with these, the "rubber" (probably a mix of synthetic and natural rubber) has the most toxic odor I have ever encountered with this kind of "rubber." One has to wonder if some recycled toxic waste was included, when they formulated this rubber in the chinese factory where it was made. I promptly sealed them in a ziplock bag to return them, and nurtured the four-hour headache I got from the reek. I would gladly pay a few dollars more for a pair that would not be hazardous to my health and not give me migraines. Still love the pair I got in Vermont.
