Clear plastic, seems good quality

Purchased these to be used around the pool. The plastic is clear and seamless, almost like glass, elegantly shaped. As mentioned by others polycarbonates (PC) do have Bisphenol A (BPA) that may leach out. However that happens when heating food products in the PC containers. For that reason PC containers for baby food/milk were banned in US. One should also know that metal cans are lined with BPA containing resin, ...but nobody microwaves beer cans. The NIH, advises against microwaving polycarbonate plastics or putting them in the dishwasher, because the plastic may break down over time and allow BPA to leach into foods. Serving frozen cocktails at occasional summer parties is fine. The one star is off because the size is smaller.

Great quality glasses!!

Great quality glasses!! I bought them for a pool party to make frozen drinks & milkshakes. Everyone thought they were real glass! They are heavy duty acrylic, crystal clear (no scratches) & no seams. They came double boxed (a box within a box), individually wrapped in plastic & they each had their own compartment... so they were nicely packaged. They held up perfectly through the party... which I would say was heavy use. Some were even dropped & never cracked or broke. I did hand wash them & didn't use the dishwasher (I'm not sure about that). I stored them away for future parties. I would definitely buy these again if I needed more.

Beautiful but pricey.

Caution when washing glassware use a bottle brush. My hand got stuck in the glass ????... top part is very narrow. Not happy about the bpa chemicals but I'm not putting hot liquids in the glass. Hopefully alcohol will be ok in it????

Not a 160z glass

Not a 16oz glass but an14.25oz, not a big deal but I needed a 16 oz glass. It’s still seems of good quality and is light weight.

These look just like glass! You would never know until you pick them up that they are plastic. Had some concerns about using plastic but they look great and are one piece, no assembling and no seams. Hopefully they are recyclable, no markings on them.
