Wick is barely above the wax

Bought three different scents Black Pine doesn't have much of a wood wick. Haven't burned yet but I'm pretty sure it won't stay lit. Need a bit of an approvement with quality control. Scent is very nice. Not worthy of 5 star rating because of wick issue. Have had MANY wood wick candles but none with a wick far less than 1/4 inch. Will give a 4 because the other two candles are ok.

Good candle

I enjoy the scent of this candle and the soothing crackling sound. My only complaint is the price. Tjmaxx, Marshall’s and home goods sell them for half the price. Unfortunately those stores are hit and miss.

Terrific scent !

I had needed a new candle ASAP as where I live, we went directly from summer into Fall almost overnight. I really enjoy burning a candle / candles Everytime my windows are closed . I was hesitant at first due to the price of the candle, but I’m so happy I made this purchase! The scent is very manly but I can tell that a female may enjoy it just as much. I’m currently burning the Dark Forest scented candle. I have already purchased another candle of a different scent. As soon as they are back in stock, I’m going to try the “ Five O’ clock Shadow “ only because I’ve been reading the reviews to find their best scent. From my readings, it appears the 5’o clock shadow scent is their best seller. Manly Indulgence: Black Pine & Oak Moss Soy Blend Candle is one of my favorite candles of all times. It is perfect for the casual candle user, who is looking to mask the usual day to day scents. The Black Pine and Oak moss scent truly lives up to the Manly Indulgence name. This product is marketed at male population that doesn’t want to deal with the daily scents, and is looking for an escape. Manly Indulgence nails this market, but that is not to say that the female population would enjoy this product. The pleasing scent can be enjoyed by all people looking for more of a natural wood-like scent. I am reviewing this product based off of the following criteria: duration of the scent, range of the scent, strength of the candle, and aesthetic of packaging. Scent: 5/5 This scent is exactly as it is labeled. You will feel like you have entered the forest immediately after lighting this candle. The scent is heavier on the black pine, with underlying hints of the moss. While that might sound unappealing to some, it’s so natural that it makes you want to never leave. It makes the environment in your house more inviting, while maintaining its manly cover. You will never be accused having feminine décor, after they smell the manly scent of the woods. Range: 2/5 The range of the candle is its biggest flaw. After lighting the candle you must make sure to place it in a central location, because it will not fill a large, or even decent sized room. It only has a radius of about 10 ft. Although if you stay near the candle, you will be happy with the scent that you are enveloped in. Strength: 4/5 If you stay within the range of the candle you will be pleased with the strength of the smell. It will not overbear your nose, but will comfort you with a strong background scent. I believe this candle could be slightly stronger, just because the scent is so pleasing. I would like it to be more at the forefront of your nasal palate. Aesthetic: 5/5 The Aesthetic of this candle is perfectly designed to look good in every bachelor pad. The candle is wrapped in a matte black casing, with a vintage looking label on the front. Strong smell

Bought for my boyfriend because he loves the smell but he could generally only use it for a small amount of time because sometimes it could give him migraines with the strength of the smell.

Nice Candle

While the candle is attractive looking and we have not lit it yet the scent is not as strong as another one we purchased a few years back and keep in the main center bathroom and that candle scent you can smell as soon as you walk in the room, This one you have to get up close to smell it, neither has been lit and probably will not be, we bought for the scent.

this looks so beautiful in the picture, and the reviews seem to be OK. I typically never buy anything with less than a four star review. Very disappointing, though, there is little if no scent coming from the candle.

BEST IN CLASS -- from a guy that burns 2 to 3 candles a week to hide smoking

This candle was the first from Manly Indulgence & I purchased the Palo Santo Scented Jar Candle, Signature Collection, Wood Wick, Grey, 15 oz - Up to 60 Hours Burn. It's the pure EVEN BURN I never expected. I have wasted $1000's on candles to remove or perhaps mask cigarette smoke; it's been most effective. I finally found an even burn rate candle with a wooden wick that lights so quickly I can use a handheld lighter even when the candle is almost consumed. I have not tried other scents (I intend to) - but for me, a wooden wick is critical --as if 15-OZ size. I noticed the Manly Indulgence has some cotton wicks -- INSIST on wooden and you'll be enjoying life.

Smell is great, however not as strong as the Ivy League or 5 O clock shadow

The smell is quite nice and relaxing. However, I give it 4 stars out of 5 because I find it doesn't fill the room quite like the other candles I have got from this brand. Overall a nice smell, but if you are using in a larger room I'd recommend the Ivy League or 5 O clock shadow candle.

Bought this as I wanted a candle for my office. Something to help reduce stress and give a scent to the room. People say it doesn't have a smell, it does it just doesnt over power the room. Its hints of scent. Great for in the background while I work, game, sketch, or paint miniatures. will be buying again Bought a second one and product came broken shattered. March 21st 2022. March 26th, 2022. The replacement arrived today. As seen by the photos it was not packaged properly. Thus in arrived broken. Amazon seriously need to take more time and package things properly. This is ridiculous.
