Quality pan
This is a good, solid, heavy pan. It seasons well and I love it. Its difficult to manage with just one hand but the secondary handle makes it easy

Works well over coals / fire, does not have a flat contact surface on a stove.
This item was purchased as we needed a pan at least 14" for our stovetop. We cook quite a bit of food at one time occasionally. We'd love a commercial type SS pan / skillet but its outside of our budge at this time. This skillet does not lay flat on the cooking surface of our stove. Heat is not distributed in a way that cooks as even as we need. This is why we purchased the pan and we were disappointed. Also the pan was missing the hardware to attach the handle to the pan. We did manage finding hardware at the house for the job. We do have a large camp style grill, we might use it there or when we go camping with friends to try over a fire. February 2017 update. Seller gave a partial refund and the gesture was greatly appreciated. We took the pan outside on our Cowboy Grill and were happy with the results over a fire. Will come in handy at group campouts.

Camp quality cookware!
Wonderful camp skillet! I purchased the 16" skillet and I was able to feed 8 adults each sitting. Hefty build and easy to clean. I recommend a light coat of a high smoke point cooking oil rubbed on after a good clean for maintenance.

Camp cooks need this skillet
If you camp cook, this skillet makes life WAY easier and more impressive. The first thing cooked in it was a pound and a half of thick cut bacon. Fried eggs and hash browns in the bacon grease. Even heating, the long , heavy duty handle was great. So impressed with it! It fits over my 3 burner stove in our camper. I used it on top of a campfire. Have used it 3 or 4 times this summer.

Great outdoor pan.
Love this pan. Have had many shore lunches in Canada with the 16 in and the 20 in pans. Easy to clean and distributes heat well. Light weight compared to cast iron. Would definitely buy more if I needed them. Only thing I wish is that the handle was constructed to slip in and out instead of screw on.

Nice big quality pan for camping or any outdoor cooking
Nice big quality pan for camping or any outdoor cooking. My wife freaked when she saw how large it was, and I bought the 16 inch not the 22 inch. You could cook bacon, eggs, hash-browns and pancakes in it, all at the same time. I l decided to get the lid too, from Walmart which had the best price and lowest shipping. I think the lid is something that will come in handy with this pan. Overall a very good purchase and I am happy with it.

16" skillet not for the 3 burner stove
I know others have liked there 16" Skillet, but found if your using it with the camp chef 3 burner grill. it will take up 2 burners. it just seemed to big for this use. but great if your cooking over a fire pit which i do. Unfortunately when i received this. The box the skillet came in appeared to have been repackaged. when I opened it, it was not coated evenly from the manufacture. after reporting this to he seller. I was contacted by them and a full refund was provided. thank you.

Best skillet ever
Replaced my 20 year old one that finally got a hole in it, although I welded it closed and still use it. These are the best for shore lunches when we are out on fishing trips or even hunting.

Carbon Steel - Great for a really BIG pan.
Carbon steel is smoother than most cast iron but you season it the same way. This is a really BIG pan so you need a heat diffuser or a really big heat source (bed of coals is likely). I haven't used it yet but it seems well designed. I grip it by hooking the handle close to the pan. Then my elbow rests in the U shaped handle. It's a working system and much lighter than Cast Iron. Not an everyday item but it should serve a lot of people and I like it. It's probably the biggest pan that will fit on my Camp Chef and it's like a flat griddle you can tip and deglaze. Just be prepared to season and take care of it.

XXL Pfanne...
Mit dieser "Pan" kann der passionierte Outdoor -Fan was anfangen. Rustikale Bratkartoffeln, Steaks anbraten, riesige Kartoffelpuffer und, und und.... Alles über dem offenen Feuer. Sogar in die Glut kann man diese Riesenpfanne stellen. Das steckt sie weg. Das Teil macht einfach Spaß.

Pas bonne taille
Avait commandé 20 pouces mais reçoit 16 pouces. Lorsque contacte le vendeur, nous indique qu’il ne vend pas de 20 pouces. Pourtant, la poêle venait avec un dlivre de ventes indiquant la poêle de 20 pouces au prix débousé. C’est du vole!!!

Disappointed!
