Bradford 50 Gal Gas Unit
Perfect replacement for my oem leaking TPR on a Bradford 50 gal nat. gas tank. Simple install... turn down the temp or turn off the tank for an hour prior. Turn off water and electric to the tank. Connect a hose to the bottom of the tank and open valve to drain about a 1/3 of the tank. Make sure you open a hot water tap in the house to allow for air flow in the tank. Once partially drained, remove the old TPR and replace. Use teflon tape on threads (this one comes with it pre-applied). Turn water back on and make sure you have all air out of the tank by opening all hot water taps in the house and running them until free of air. Close hot water taps, turn gas valve back on and set thermostat to desired temp. Turn on electric and enjoy a leak free tank. Super simple.

I am about as good as any Master RV Tech
Hi All/ I have been doing my own RV Repairs for the Past 55 Years. I have yet to find a need for a so called 'RV Tech" I think after all of these years, I am about as good as any Master RV Tech. I had to replace my old Safety valve, due to Leaking. The old Safety Vale, Lever was badly bent, so I knew that someone has messed with it a lot. I order a New Safety Valve, and it did help. I flushed out the old Safety Valve, several times before I installed the New Safety Valve, to make sure nothing was in the Safety Valve. It did lot to correct the Bad Dripping. But it did not solve the problem 100%. I draiind the New saftey Valve several times to make sure nothing was caught in the New Safety Valve. As there is only two reasons a Safety Valve can leak. One is a Bad Safety Valve, or you have lost your Hot Water Tanks Air Gap, which will make any Safety Valve Leak. I have check all several times, and it still Leaks, but not as bad as before. So I think I got a Bad Safety Vale from the Start. I should have reported it sooner, so I could have returned it, it the time frame, my fault. So I need to replace it with a New Safety Valve, to correct the Drip Issue. It is for sure not the Hot Water Heater Tank. I have done all of my own RV Repairs for the past 55 Years. I would have given it 5 Stars, but do to it is still Leaking, its a "Faulty Safety Valve". Amazon.com is Fantastic, "My Fault" for not contacting Amazon.com sooner. From Dan & Austin. So far so good
Installed this in our 12gal hot water heater in the 5th wheel which has begun leaking. This valve is priced for less than hardware stores have them for which was a pleasant surprise. I had purchased Teflon tape locally and was surprised that this arrived with the threads already taped which is helpful but I had not seen that noted. I now have extra for future use and it was not very expensive so not any harm. Hopefully this holds which it should and I am pleased with the value for the price and appears just like the one replaced which had been installed for many years and much use. I can sincerely recommend it.

This saved me $300+.
Next time your plumber tells you it's time to replace the entire hot water heater because you have a small but constant pressure leak, follow these instructions carefully: 1-Send the plumber home and thank him for his assistance. 2- Order this, and maybe get a roll of teflon tape too ( last bit optional, the threads come pre-coated) 3-get a pipewrench, put it on the spigot looking pressure release valve, and carefully turn it counter clockwise to remove (it's NOT hard at all, if you have 1 half working arm and 1 half working eyeball you can do it). 4-screw in the new one, just like you took it out only clockwise 5-Deposit your savings in the bank and go take a hot shower. You're welcome. -J

Leak free - good fit
Direct replacement for my RV water heater that was leaking. I ordered this valve with matching socket wrench to replace it. It worked perfectly - 2 minute job. It would have been a real chore without the socket wrench - good value.

Just replaced this on my 2010 Denali fifth wheel water heater. The old one was leaking. It was exactly as I needed and easy to install.
