Collapse problem solved!
If you look through the reviews, you'll see that a significant number of the more negative review complain about the bucket collapsing. Well - it is a collapsible bucket after all! But having a bucket that collapses and spills when you sit it down is certainly not very useful We use the bucket for camping, and my wife figured out this solution to the collapse problem - and since we implemented this we have just loved this bucket. No more collapsing! Here's the trick: Get some parachute cord and a cheap carabiner. Tie the parachute cord around the end of the picnic table - we use a long piece that we can adapt to different tables. Sometimes you have to go around the whole end of the table, but most often you can just go around one "plank". Now put the carabiner around the cord, clip the bucket handle to the carabiner, and you have a hanging bucket that cannot collapse. I've also done this with trees. I store the parachute cord and carabiner with the bucket in the zippered cover. Simple and effective.

This collapsible bucket has been great for backpacking and camping. When backpacking, this collapsible bucket stores easily in your pack and allows you to efficiently carry water back to your camp from a lake or stream so that you can sit and filter water in a more comfortable position rather than being hunched over at the waters edge. It basically has worked great for me to use in keeping water available in camp for a variety of uses. Be careful carrying a full bucket of water over a long distance using only the thin steel handle because the weight will eventually cause one of the ends of the handle to pop out and you will lose the water. Other than that, this product works as intended and offers the camper a higher level of convenience.

A sturdy, collapsible
A sturdy, collapsible, bucket that is a space saver in our camper where space is at a premium. From washing the camper, to putting out a fire, it really came in handy. I even took it on a recent backpacking trip for gathering water to be filtered out of the creek bed. Instead of having to bend down, laying everything in the mud, I was able to place the full bucket on a dry rock, and spread out my filtering gear along with the water bottles and keep everything clean! It worked well. A little heavy for backpacking, but I will certainly use it again. I wish that it stood up a little better on its own, but, that is not a deal breaker.

Awkward one handed but like it.
I use this for my shower bucket while camping. I fill it up and drop a pump into it and take a show. The problem I have however is getting it to stand up while I'm filling it. I have to use both hands on my 7 gallon water container while I try to poor it into this bucket but the bucket does not stand up easily on its own until water is actually in it. Its easier to use if you can hold the bucket handle with one hand and fill it with the the other hand.

It works as an emergency bucket and for hiking
I love the fact that this collapses into a size that can slide right into my hiking pack. It holds a decent amount of water, perfect for having water to clean supplies or put out the fire while out on the trail. I also pulled it out when I went trout fishing and didn't pack a regular bucket. My only complaint that if it isn't completely full with water sometimes it collapses down a little and spills some of the water from the bucket on the ground.

Nice multi use bucket for camping
The only reason this got four stars instead of five is because it sometimes will collapse if it is not hung from something or filled to the brim with water. Other than that, I've gotten a ton of use out of this item and it is in with my camping equipment on a regular basis. I also have a horse and I thought this might be great for long rides as one could hang it on the saddle and then use it for food and/or water for the animal. I highly recommend this item.

Water/ice bucket
I will use this bucket as an ice bucket, for my outback cook-outs, and filling my ice tea server with water filled in the bucket, as it is leak proof, and so portable and convenient. Item received promptly, and I will recommend to all who ask where did I get this bucket from. I really do have have one that was purchased from a kitchen store a few years ago, and I paid much, much more for it. So I can appreciate the cost of this bucket, in fact I may get one as a gift for someone else. Thank you for the low price, that just about anyone can buy them now.

Very handy and durable bucket
I have used this on a few canoe trips and absolutely love it. It has served it's purpose perfectly. First, the fact that it collapses and is easily packed, plus it is light enough. Second, well it collapses and so you hope it's strong enough to hold water properly once expanded and it does, the cladding material is heavy enough to keep it's shape along with the rigid materials for the bottom and top of the bucket. I hang it from a tree so as to keep it off the ground and the handle does not flex when full with water. I expect this thing will hold up great and serve me for many years.

This bucket is a great product Folds down small for camp or any other use outdoors even for an RV really like it but the downfall is when it’s full of water it will tip over unless you have it hanging on something and then have to water comes out that’s why I don’t like about it otherwise it’s a good product they should’ve had something to make it stay sturdy when it’s opened up

Exactly what I needed
The best thing about this collapsible bucket is that it stands up when only partly full. It is also handy to keep in the car because it has a case.
