Good but no tongs - Update: Happy Now
It's a nice looking ice bucket that would be nice when warm weather gets here but it's missing the tongs. I reported it on the seller's website more than a few days ago but so far, crickets. Luckily there's still time to return it. UPDATE: Oggi mailed the tongs to me. I decided not to return the ice bucket without first calling Oggi. I spoke to Tammy in Customer Service. She asked that I send her a few pictures of the ice bucket so she could find the appropriate tongs. A few days later, I received the tongs along with a kind note from Tammy. Now THAT is some highly satisfactory customer service! And it really is a nice ice bucket.

Oggi sent me the drainer insert
UPDATE: Within 1 business day of my contacting Oggi about the missing part, I received an email telling me it was on its way. I received the drainer insert a couple days later. It fits perfectly in the ice bucket, and leaves quite a bit of room to drain the melted ice. There's a small ledge inside, about an inch from the bottom of the bucket, where the drainer will sit. Also, something I didn't notice before: the knob on the lid is more attractive (less bulky) than the one pictured. I used it for a dinner party (before the drainer arrived), and it kept the ice cooled for 5 hours, with minimal melting. I'm looking forward to using the drainer, as I think it will make the experience even more perfect. No other ice bucket that I have researched includes a drainer. Great customer service! PREVIOUS REVIEW: The amazon.com description states that this ice bucket comes with tongs and a drainer. Some of the reviewers received the drainer and raved about it. That was the reason I chose this bucket over competitive products. However, like some OTHER reviewers, when the product arrived, the drainer insert was not included. Furthermore, the bottom of the ice bucket has the logo for Target Home--Not Oggi (though the box is an Oggi box). This product, without drainer, is offered on target.com at a lower price than what I paid through Amazon. Perhaps something got mixed up at the Chinese manufacturing plant. I have reached out to Oggi (per the directions on amazon.com/help) and asked for them to send me a drainer. I will raise or lower my rating depending on what the response is. Stay tuned...

Nice container for ice. Wish it had a single hand grip
November overall. Two handed grip is required to lift it which while bot a major issue, can be improved. When you are carrying ice and other items, you may have to make two trips.

Nice product, but missing a lid. Currently requesting one from the manufacturer
It product looks nice and feels quite hefty/ durable. I like the brushed stainless steel exterior and the inner drip/strainer tray appears to function by being suspended about one inch from the bottom: the diameter of the inner tray is larger than the tapered base of the bucket, so the tray never touches the bottom and just "sits in mid-air" -- hope that makes sense. I'll upload some pictures. I would have given this product 5 stars if it came with the advertised lid. My order was fulfilled by Amazon.com directly and I called them earlier this evening to request a lid or a replacement altogether, but was informed that they didn't have any replacement units in stock. Instead, they offered either a complete refund (where I send back the product - bucket, tongs and drip tray) or a partial refund for the missing lid. I took the partial refund offer and sent an e-mail directly to the manufacturer, Oggi Corp. I am waiting for a response to see if they can send me a lid or not and will update this review when I get more information. I see that other folks have received the product with missing trays, so it appears that Oggi Corp's quality control is not checking their packages and might be sending out incomplete boxes to 3rd-party vendors? That's not cool. *sigh* Why do online purchases have to be a gamble? -Alan UPDATE for 2013-01-16 WED: I finally got in contact with a living person at OggiCorp. The CSR (customer service representative) with whom I spoke was Yvette and she wanted me to confirm the product by providing her with the model number on the bottom of the box. I sent her an e-mail with that information around lunch time. UPDATE for 2013-02-01 FRI: After not hearing anything from Yvette or OggiCorp for about two weeks, I sent another follow-up e-mail to Yvette earlier this evening. Hopefully, I'll get a response some time next week.

Keeps ice a long time
Initial impression on unboxing wasn't great ... there were some marks on the exterior, and it didn't come with a strainer in the bottom. This was a big disappointment as sitting in water will make the ice melt faster. The lack of a strainer should be highlighted better - it's the last line in the description, while the pictures at the top of the reviews show a strainer. This is one of the big reasons I bought this bucket as vs. the competition. That said, the marks washed off, and on a first test it kept ice cold for hours - after 6 hours there was still plenty of ice, albeit a little melted, in the bucket. So a big thumbs up for function! It doesn't weep at all on the outside, another plus. The lid fits well on mine. It does seem to collect smudges ... need to find a good way to get those off as they definitely take away from the sharp look of the bucket. Three stars for lack of strainer and very easy smudging. But for function it's probably a 5-star item.
