Flimsy

Looks great and works for a emergency car snow shovel, but not as a shovel for actual dirt.

Great Inexpensive shovel

This is great for occasional use. If you expect it to last more than one season you MUST clean, and oil quickly because if not the rust will set in and destroy it. This is not stainless or very well coated steel and will be consumed to nothing if not taken care of.

Great for beach umbrellas!

I bought this to use at the beach to dig a hole for the beach umbrella pole. Works great and folds up pretty small. Not worried about the umbrella blowing out of the sand now!

great portable shovel

sturdy piece added to the car, easy to fold away compactly, beach sand can get in the threads just gotta wipe it off before folding.

Small but good

I haven't actually had to use it, but it seems sturdy. It's small, but that's good because my car is very small (Prius). I'm in Montana, so you never know when you might need a shovel. This one fits and could be very convenient if I get stuck in a parking lot. I wouldn't count on it in a huge snow bank though.

WOW!!!

this shovel is super cool. i bought it to throw in my truck,but every car should have one in case you get stuck in snow, mud sand or soft surface so you can dig out tires and back up slowly to get out.folds beautifully and is lightweight, powerful handle engineered to give maximum leverage and power. wish we had these when i was in the military! ours were junk compared to this. plus the bargain price of a 11 dollars?come on...

Nice to keep in the trunk 'just in case'

I purchased this to have in my trunk for emergencies/camping. For $13 I thought it was a good deal. It opens up, tightens, and collapses without a problem. Love that it comes with a pouch. I haven't had to use it yet but I'm happy with my purchase so far. Some things to consider depending on intended use: It's cheap so there might be some longevity issues. I purchased this for 'you never know' situations so I'm not too concerned. The handle is not long, there will be considerable stooping if you ever use it. I'm not sure how sharp (meaning useful) the serrated edge really is. I've seen a few that were a little more expensive but had longer handles and/or added pick axe. Overall, for $13 it's nice to have around to quell some 'what if you get stuck in the snow and need a shovel to survive' thoughts.

Leo algunos comentarios que la pala venia mal, que no se sostenia, que pena esa gente la verdad. La pala trae un dispositivo que vas girando y conforme se va apretando queda super resistente, ese es el dispositivo que las demas personas no vieron. Utilizo la pala en un todoterreno y la traigo cuando me atasco en lodo, plegada cabe en cualquier maletero de auto promedio.
