Great accessory for practice

Two suggestions to the manufacturer: make the top openable (or hinge one side of enclosure) to allow loading balls directly, not scattered on ground. If just using as a ball dispenser to practice, not necessarily just for retrieving balls after hitting. Second: Add a handle on the top side to carry like a case. These should be easy to add to current design. Then it will be perfect.

Great addition to indoor driving range!!!

In getting my 9yo son into the sport I started with a Skilz driving net outdoors. When weather was bad he got bummed that he couldn't practice. Fast forward a few months, now we have a 4'x5' indoor driving mat and the net in my workshop. I purchased this to make it a more Top Golf like experience where the ball is dispensed using the club only. It made it more enjoyable for him! I cannot lie, I enjoy this more than I thought I would! It really speeds up the process of collecting balls out of the net allowing us to focus more on our fundamentals. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to spend any amount of time practicing and not putting emphasis on chasing balls. I can literally pick up 3 dozen balls in less than 2 minutes and be back on the mat ready to swing again like its nothing. My 9yo loves this as well for that same reason.

Chipping and shagging balls is easier than ever! But it don't last forever....

I've bought a lot of things for golf, but I must say, this is one of the most useful and convenient things I have ever purchased. It's very easy to use and makes shagging balls and practicing my chipping much easier. I chip 700 to 1000 balls a week in my back yard, so I've truly put this item to the test. I will say that I found a screw loose today, so I fear that prolonged use will likely wear it out especially in terms of it's ability to hold balls when the nozzle is pointed downwards. So far, the decline in that aspect has been noticeable and increasing. Despite this, I can't see how anyone would be unhappy with this tool for moderate use for the price. If I wear it out, I'll likely just buy another one. I enjoy it that much. A few weeks later... That decline was faster than I thought and now I can barely pick 5 balls without them slipping out. I think they also raised the price, so I'm knocking my review down not for the price increase, but for the lack of durability. If it were durable it would be worth the price.

Noisy, but effective

Wanted a caddie to practice chipping and putting. Liked this design, where you can feed a ball one by one, and pick up with it afterwards. Easy to set up, and holds enough balls. Definitely noisy if you keep it in the trunk, but if you prop it up or store it in a way where balls can't roll back and forth, it's fine.

Overall I'm very pleased with my purchase and enjoy going to the range even more than previous.

I've been in the market for a ball shagger for a while now and finally pulled the trigger on this one which seems to represent somewhat of a new take on an old product. A little about me - I'm a fairly obsessive golfer in a northern climate that tries to get out as much as possible when the weather is nice. This means going to the range 2-3x/week and playing 9-27 holes/week. Previously at the range I would hit 50+ balls then spend 30 minutes to an hour on the putting green and chipping. Previously this meant pulling 5-10 balls from my bag, hitting them, then chasing them down and manually picking them up or whacking them back towards where my bag was perched. Now I'm able to hit 30+ shots at a time from the same location without so much as pushing a lever on my new ball shagger. Pros - - Able to hit 30+ shots at a time from the same spot, more time spent hitting shots and less time chasing golf balls - No more bending over when retrieving balls - Seems like it's built to last, the legs and ball release mechanism feel solid - Small footprint, skinny, and will fit in the smallest of trunks Cons - - I'm above average height, 6'2", yet I still feel like I have to bend my elbow a bit when I'm carrying this thing around to keep it from dragging on the ground. Perhaps in future iterations they make it wide enough to hold 2 balls in the width dimension but a little shorter as long as it doesn't affect stability. - Can be loud in the trunk if it's not absolutely filled and there's some room for golf balls to roll around. Overall I'm very pleased with my purchase and enjoy going to the range even more than previous.

Built cheap. Screw undone

One of the tiny screws at the bottom where the balls come in and out popped out and it won't stay in. It just makes the opening really loose. More annoyed that I just got it and my toddler almost swallowed the screw. It's just built so cheap. I think a better price range would be $20-30

Sturdy, reinforced parts, works smoothly with solid golf balls

It's more productive than push balls from near as a ball dispenser. It's a two function equipment and I already had a ball picker, so, this equipment made my traditional "tube ball picker" old and unnecessary. The mechanics are strong, but it has more than just a simple lock or mechanism, it has two consecutive moving parts inside to make the magic happen. Comparing to the box ball dispensers size and positioning, this one needs a lot of space that some drive range won't make available.

easy to use!

Great way to practice around a putting green. Occasionally a ball will get hung up and you have to aggressively shake the devise to dislodge it. Easy to pick up balls without having to bend over

Sonething new in the Golf Gadget family. Love it

I’d been looking to find a way of feeding balls at my home Net & Mat setup. Had scouted internet and driving ranges and there was nothing available for the consumer market. Stumbled across this and ordered from the US to here in Sunny Scotland. It cane within a week and have been impressed with the design. The 2 foldaway plastic legs don’t seem to clip closed when not being used to feed balls. But not a big enough problem to stop this getting 5 stars - for fixing my problem with such a cheap and effective solution. You simply press the lever with your club or foot.
