Vetro borosilicato soffiato a bocca, lavabile in lavastoviglie.

Quickly becoming my favorite way to make coffee
As a coffee enthusiast, I've tried various coffee makers, including the French Press, Aeropress, OXO 8-Cup Coffee Maker (Gold Cup certified by SCA), and ceramic Hario V60. However, this double-walled BODUM is quickly becoming my favorite. I would give it 5 stars without hesitation. Firstly, the coffee produced by this pour-over coffee maker is excellent. The flavor is rich and full-bodied, and I find that the double-walled design keeps the coffee nice and warm without over-extracting the coffee. The double-walled design also makes it easy to handle the carafe without burning my fingers. Secondly, I appreciate how easy it is to use this coffee maker. The simple design makes it easy to brew a perfect cup of coffee every time, and the cork grip adds a nice touch of style and comfort. It's also easy to clean, which is always a plus. Lastly, the double-walled version of this coffee maker is great at keeping the coffee warm for an extended period of time. However, it doesn't come with a lid, so you need to drink the coffee quickly or transfer to a thermal carafe. That being said, this is a minor issue compared to the overall quality and convenience of the design. Overall, I would highly recommend this BODUM to any coffee lover looking for a high-quality pour-over coffee maker. The flavor of the coffee is great, it's easy to use, and the double-walled design keeps the coffee warm. It's quickly becoming my go-to coffee maker, and I'm very happy with my purchase.

Awesome
I love making my morning coffee using this. It’s so nice and easy to use and clean up after use. No more electric coffee makers that probably housed lots of bacteria. Who ever cleans the inside workings after each pot. If you want more that 2.large mugs in the morning this might not be for you. My mug is about 16 oz. It’s perfect for me. My husband still uses the pods coffee maker for himself.

Don't write a bad review if you're using it wrong...
Use a cone-shaped filter for fine-ground coffee, and you won't get grinds in your coffee. It isn't meant to keep your coffee warm, use a kettle, and pour in enough for a cup or two. Then, when you want more... pour more hot water in. This isn't a 16-pot coffee maker. It is for one or two cups. It's good for a single person, or a couple who drinks 1-2 cups.

Quality and value
Very nice quality glass and well fitting parts. I got this on a thirty percent off deal making it one heck of a value at less than twenty bucks (for the larger one). The filter doesn't get all the fines out so using a basic paper filter is still required. But, if you don't mind some fines (coffee dust) in your cup then it works much better than a lot of others. This does pair well with a 03 size Hario drip if you have one.

Made the switch
Finally switched from French press coffee to the pour over method and I love it! This one is easy to use and easy to clean. I opt to add a paper filter but you don't have to.

Makes great coffee, If you have the patience
This Pour over coffee maker is good to use but you do need to have a lot of patience as well as some trial and error with making the coffee. It is good that it comes with the filter included and it works perfectly to make it into a mug or a glass. It is a bit difficult to figure out how to make great coffee with this but once you do your research and with some testing and trying different methods it make an excellent cup of coffee. I would say this is not for your average person to make coffee but if you want a a great cup of coffee and have the time to sit and be with it for a few minutes it is great. I primarily use this on the weekends where I have some more tine in the morning to make it rather than during the week.

Great for the price, if you use it correctly.
After cracking my last pour over maker, I decided to check out the cheaper options available, and this one caught my eye. The paper filters can be annoying to deal with (rinsing, ripping, etc) and I was intrigued about the possibility of just buying a permanent metal filter and being done with it. Well, after using it for a while, I can say that this pour over maker is pretty good, but not great. Maybe great for the price. But it can make a good cup of coffee if you are willing to get a little fussy over it. I have not used it with a paper filter, this review is how it was intended to be used. My tips/observations: -It does go way too fast if you pour the water in all at once. Any water directly in contact with the sides will basically immediately flow through. The key to this filter is understanding it's design; the bottom is solid, so water can only exit through the sides. The more water you put in at once, the higher the ratio that will be in contact with the sides versus the bottom, so the faster it will flow. So you must work somewhat slowly with this. -You will need a decent coffee grinder to use this. If you use a blade style grinder, it's going to pulverize some particles into dust before it can break down all the larger particles, as a result a lot of matter is going to make it through the filter into the brew, which will lead to over-extraction and lots of grinds in your cup. -Typically the way you make your brew faster or slower is by modifying your grain size, with smaller grains making longer brewing times. But unfortunately, this filter does not catch fine particulate, if you make them too fine you will end up with a lot of it making it past the filter. So instead you are going to need to maximize contact time with the grounds by pouring slowly. and don't let any of your water run down the side of the filter, you should be pouring in the area of coffee over the solid part of the filter, trying to keep the water pooled in there constant. It should take a few minutes to pour a whole cup, otherwise it's going to be weak. Just drip the water in. -You must bloom your coffee grounds before using this. While it's always preferable, if you don't bloom them and just pour all the water in, you are going to get a very weak cup. It's not really optional here. -This coffee maker isn't very dense, and will not insulate well. So you should heat up your maker. Before you start blooming the grounds, pour some hot water in the base and slosh it around, then bloom your grounds and let it sit with the hot water in the bottom. Then pour out the hot water before you start brewing. -Also, you should not place your coffee maker on something that is going to suck all the heat out of it, like a marble counter top. Use a trivet or something underneath and your brew will stay warm a lot longer. And if you don't heat up your mug first, use a little hot water in the bottom to do that, it makes a huge difference. -After you finish brewing, give the coffee maybe 30 seconds to settle, then GENTLY pour into your mug. Pay attention and pour slowly and you should be able to keep most of the grit out of the cup. The result of this will be, as advertised, a full bodied, very oily (if somewhat gritty) cup of Joe. I'd say this is probably the pour over equivalent of a french press, and that's how you have to look at it. The coffee needs more contact time with the water than the filter will give you, so like a french press, it is going to take a few minutes. If you are willing to do all these things, it's a great coffee maker. Me? I think I will pick up some chemex filters and use those on top of the steel. They might remove the oils, but I'm not really sure how much I care about that, compared to the hassle of brewing in slow motion. But for the price, it is pretty good.

This thing brews fast--
This is an interesting little brewer (500ml/17oz) that's both functional and attractive. It is a metal filter system, so you should expect fines and oil in the cup, regardless of what manufacturers say about it being similar to paper-filtered coffee. That being said, the fines are minimal for a metal filter system. That difference in taste and texture is why I bought this brewer, and something you should at least expect, if not enjoy if you are considering purchasing one. Your brewing technique will also have to change if you are used to brewing with paper, but I think it's easier to get it right than paper Things to like: -the coffee is full-bodied and textural -the carafe shape does a nice job of trapping fines in the bottom during the pour because of the break angle between the bottom and top sections -the opening on the 500ml(17oz) brewer is the perfect size for a plastic V60-2 dripper if you just want to use the carafe -the upper part of the carafe will hold a ceramic dripper cone like a Loveramics or Origami dripper with room to brew about 500ml -the carafe feels high quality -it's easy to operate Things to dislike: -the filter does not have much room for coffee; I like to brew about 16g to 350g (weak, I know) and the filter is about half full at that point -the filter feels cheap compared to the carafe; it's easy to see why looking at the price of something like the Abel Kone or Kinto Slow; the performance is still good -it would be very difficult to get your hand inside to wipe with a cloth if you like to clean by hand -the neck where you grip is rather large and could prove difficult to hold for smaller hands -the pouring, while not messy, leaves a little to be desired; you have to pour fairly steeply Silly gripes: -the packaging is minimal and mostly cardboard, which is good, but they put the manual and scoop inside the carafe, making it very difficult to get out with adult hands: a little frustrating

You need a coffee filter
This is a great idea and works well , but you do need an additional coffee filter . The water runs straight through way too fast and the coffee is so weak .

Perfect pour over coffee maker
Great coffee maker and very easy to use (when you know how). There’s some good YouTube videos on the proper use of one of these that I have directed friends to who I can’t show in my kitchen, but understand you don’t just pour the water in, the coffee will not taste as good as it can - it’s a slow circular drizzle I get sidetracked easily!!! Easy to use, looks great as a centre price on a table after dinner and makes great coffee. Unless you have the hand of a 5 year old your not going to be able to get in to this with a sponge to clean it if you forget to rinse it out quick enough. I have recommended this to friends and would recommend here

Great iced coffee maker, well made, stylish and cheap
Love this! Great iced coffee maker, well made, stylish and cheap. Doesn't use paper filters and you can put the metal mesh in the dishwasher (if you use one). It's a bit fiddly to get the cork off to wash the flask, but easy once you've worked it out.

Excellent but delicate
We've had 3 of these over the years. We use them everyday, they look and work brilliantly however they are quite fragile and easily explode into a million pieces if touched against anything hard. Extra care needed when washing it at the sink not to clip an edge. The metal filter works well enough but does let through quite a lot of sediment. We sometimes pop in a paper filter if we want a 'smooth' coffee. All in all, an excellent product.
