Very well made

I bought a men’s size small waist waders. I am 5’5” and wear 34/29 blue jeans. I weigh 165 pounds. The minute I tried these on over sweat pants, it was heaven. It was a really good fit, a little snug around my calves but good movement. The one problem was the booties were a bit wide and about an inch to long. I normally wear a size US 8 shoe. My favorite and only wading boots are my Foxelli size 8 which I really love. I was not able to fit my left foot comfortably into the boot and had to return the waders. Sad. If I ever buy size 9 Foxelli boots, I’ll try again. They were really nice waders. PS. Like the embroidered dry fly.

So far so good.

I prefer waist high waders. After going through 2 pairs of another brand, I thought I’d give these a try. So far so good. Value for the money.

These are GREAT waist waders - except.....

I really loved these waist waders. Great quality, great fit, great looks, high quality. I really wanted these waders to work for me. Sadly I had to return them because for me, the neoprene stocking foot had to be anatomically designed to fit inside my wading boots. These stocking neoprene boots were both to large and to bulky (wide) leaving my size 8.5 U.S. swimming in the size small waders. They did not fit comfortably in my size 10 waders. If Caddis ever builds these waders with anatomically fit neoprene stocking I will buy two. If these stocking fit you - then these are great wait high waders but sadly did not fit my size 8.5 US feet and did not work in my size 10 wading boots.

Well made, but baggy on slender to athletic builds

These are well-constructed waders that have survived a 9-day moose hunt in western Alaska, and several short fishing trips so far. The fit is good, but a bit baggy (I'm a lean guy). The baggy cut helps them not restrict movement, I suppose, but they'd be quieter if they fit tighter. Overall, these are good waders that come with a belt and gravel guards. They are a significant upgrade from hip boots because they allow you to go a bit deeper and more importantly, sit down without getting a wet butt (which is important where I live, work, and play because it rains a lot here in Southeast Alaska). They are more comfortable than chest waders if it isn't cold out, so I expect that I'll be using these a lot in the future. Do me a favor and let me know if my review was helpful.

Good overall quality. Much more comfortable than bibs

I am a big fan of waist-high waders. I find them much more comfortable than chest waders, which i pretty much only wear when i expect to be in deeper water. I use these mainly for fishing jetties , and using these more like rain pants than waders, but these are nice because there are times i need to go into the water to land a bigger fish and i don't need to worry about going over the top of my boots These Caddis are a little thinner than other brands I've owned, which could be better or worse, I guess time will tell

Ordered a pair of these on Sunday and they arrived in New Zealand the following Saturday...great service. Nice quality wading pants, with a handy zipped internal pouch, built in gravel guards and elasticated waist.. If I could have found a pair over here they would have cost a lot more, even if you factor in shipping costs. Fit is pretty good. I'm 6ft 3 ins, 200 Lbs with a 36 inch waist and 101/2 to11 UK boot size. If anything I found the fit slightly on the generous side, especially the boot foot and probably could have got away with a medium but I prefer to leave room for a few extra layers just in case. In fact I intend buying another pair so next time I'll get the medium and use them in the warmer months...recommended.

sizing issues...

ok...i'm a hardcore trout stalker and was turned onto these waders from a buddy, said they were/are the cats meow...i looked em over, needed a pair of waist hi for the smaller, colder waters i fish in here in NC, etc. I went by the sizing guidelines and ordered a large, no go on that.... i tried em on, they are cut small, so i will return and order a xxl.....i don't like skin tight waders, need room for movement and to stay warmer/cooler depending on season and what layer is under them.... build quality is good, like the waist and loops for belt,, which is included... I will update...

Great waders...and really good customer service

Look at the Caddis Webdsite to see the sizing... (http://www.caddiswaders.com/sizing_charts.php) I tried many wader sizes based on what people reviewed...I ordered them...then returned them...just use the chart that Caddis has on their website...I went 1 size larger than what was recommended (I'm 6 feet tall, 200 lbs), I need medium sized full length and pant waders. Go alittle larger because they are alittle tight when you kneel down... Other than that...the waders are fantastic and a very good price. I ordered some waders on Amazon...but didn't get a chance to try them out because I was traveling. I wrote to Caddis to see if I could exchange them...they were REALLY good about it. I just needed to pay $20 USD to ship them to my home.

Good value.

Construction seems quite good. Have not used in water yet. I’m 5”11”, size 12 shoe, 205 lbs, 31” inseam and I ordered the medium. They fit well. I did try the large, but they were huge on me. Hope this helps!

Well made..sizing is very general could use some more sizes that would match sole. Haven't used in water yet!
