Great Cheap Option

You get what you pay for. These are not meant to feel and work as if they are $150 wading shoes so if you keep that in mind then they are great. They are very lightweight but I personally would have like a little more heaviness in the shoe. I feel like theyre meant to float. I just may be smaller and dont put enough weight in them so sometimes when in deeper water its harder to move along with the current taking me. The grip is decent. Nothing superior. They came in super scuffed but truthfully it was the black material scraping against the box. I tested it with the unscuffed shoe and it indeed was the the shoe rubbing against the box. I dont care they were meant to get messed up. I will probably order these again when I need another.

Sending back but will re- order: Description says Caddis leaves room for wader feet, but many reviews said order one or two sizes larger. I take a 7-1/2 wide sometimes. 8 medium depending on tie area of shoe or boot, must be a large toe/ front area due to bunion. & arthritic toe. I ordered a size 9 which was much too large, could not keep on my foot. I will be calling Caddis directly for size information before re- ordering the breathable waders & these boots. They were well made and otherwise seemed like a good boot. I did call Caddis directly & they recommended a size 8 for my 7-1/2 wide feet. I ordered them, they are fine. Haven't tried using them for fishing yet, but they are sturdy, fit well and I don't need extra socks in them.

these are my first pair of wading boots. wow do i love fishing. 5 stars because these are great to go fishing in. I did order up 1.5 sizes so I could use these in the winter with wool socks, the laces can be tightened if you are not wearing wool socks so the shoes fit either way

Love these boots

Love these boots, BUT, I ordered a half size larger as instructed, but it wasn't enough. The CADDIS waders boot sock is VERY large and bulky. It's taken me 3 months to figure out why my feet get so numb, I thought it was from the icey water. The more socks I put on, the worse it got. As it turns out, the circulation in my feet was getting restricted....Yeah, duh. I wear an 8 1/2 shoe, I have now purchased a men's 9 Caddis wading boot. My feet are very very happy and much warmer now.

Love the style

Love the style. I made a mistake and ordered next size up to make sure my neoprene waders fit. They weren’t kidding whe they said they were sized to fit with waders so mine were too large.

I've worn them a few times fly fishing where I not only was wading in the water, but climbing over boulders and they have been great. I wear a size 6 shoe and the size 6 boot fit perfect with my waders. They are light weight, comfortable, sturdy, and have great traction.

Sliptery on rocks in river

Nice an light boots very sliptery on rocks in river not good if they wasn't sliptery would of give them 5 stars Got cleats coming for them if that didn't help they will be no good .. I got the stud in them they are good and need the studs

the reality of this boot

The reality of this boot is that ...don't buy these unless you like having a battle of keeping yourself from falling butt over teakettle every time you take a step into water.
