Functional model slapped on a base
The character feels solid. The painting is pretty accurate, having had to exchange the first due to an issue with the base and not seeing any excessive flaws in either. It does NOT come with a cable. There is a place where one could have been included, but it wasn't there in either. The hold for a PS5 controller is secure, even if it doesn't quite look like it. The only issue would be that this excellent and functional model is placed on a cheap, hollow plastic base. It has enough bulk to stay in place, but definitely feels like an afterthought. It is imprinted with the branding, which had caused a warp in the first one. It is plain enough from the top to not distract from the character, so it's an acceptable compromise. Overall, this is a great product for any Sonic fan that has a game system. I am sure it would work for other items, but even the manufacturer states that it was primarily meant for controllers. It is pleasant to look at and functional. What more can you really ask?

I’ve had this controller holder for about two months and my PS5 controller rests on it basically every night and almost every day, she’s sturdy indeed and looks great. Hopefully she lasts for years to come

Okay for smaller controllers, but won't work well with bigger ones.
Okay, so it works perfectly with smaller ones such as the 8Bitdo M30, but with something bigger like a Steam controller or the Gullikit KingKong Pro 2 controller for the Switch, the nose is capable of blocking the charging port. If you're thinking about using this for something like Experimental Pi's PiBoy XRS, the arms don't seem stretched out far enough and the nose seems to be in a bad position. I do hope that they take this into consideration with future character designs and scale them up a bit in the future to compensate for these kinds of things.

Great product!
It's really good. Nice size and pretty sturdy. My only problem is one arm hangs about an inch below the other which makes my phone or controller sit at a slight angle.

So I docked a star because the cable wasn't in the box. Doesn't matter to me but incomplete packages I always dock a star. This figurine is perfect. Looks great, sturdy, my Switch Pro Pad almost was too big but I figured out how to balance it. I have been playing Somic games since 1991 and these are a perfect homage to the series. Bravo CableGuys.

Legs are too weak for big electronics (like a tablet)
Bought this as a Christmas present for my little sister (she was 4, let's keep that in mind). The legs broke after 4 months of HEAVY use. Heavy use meaning she put her tablet (with a heavy use protector) on it and well, a four year old isn't precisely careful with their stuff, so. I just put 4 stars having in mind that they broke down and lasted not that much. Anyways, the figurine is so cute and its totally worth buying! She loved it :)
