It does what it’s supposed to do.
I ordered this twice. The first time the thread didn’t match my bike frame so make sure you get the right thread size. The most common sized I believe are 1.0 and 1.5. Also measure the length of your current axle to know how long to get it. The shaft is long and the wheel was loose so I added a couple of washers to make sure there was no extra play and it works like a charm. I’m giving it 4 starts because a product this expensive should come with more than just one spacer.

Expensive but Correct Tool for the Job
There's a site that helped me find the right size Burley Thru Axle Adapter and it was right on the money. Just tried it out this evening with my new Mountain Bike and it worked like a charm. I did find it curious it said not to ride with the axle full time but it's easy enough to swap back and forth (plus less weight when doing trail riding). I have a 12x148 1.75 pitch axle so I did not need the included spacer (which the directions cover).

Works on Canyon Full squish
Expensive for what it is, but works on my Canyon Full squishy and I ride it hard on trails. Without the trailer of course...

Add a small amount of grease
When installing add a small amount of grease to the treads and gently twist as if you are loosening until you hear a slight click. The threads are then aligned and can be tightened. The picture shows that the mating wasn’t correct when it was tightened. If you don’t have grease, any bike shop probably would put a little on if you were grateful

Works as it should
This is the only way I could set my giant anthem up for pulling a trailer.

Easy to install but missing pieces
I needed this thru axle in order to use the Burley Tail Wagon but when I received it there was only one of two spacers in the package. Because of this I can’t get the axle length to space out properly. Disappointing. Item seems of great quality although I’m unable to use it until the correct spacers are sent to me or I find an alternative.

Check measurements
Did not work for my bike, measurement was at upper end of range, only had one or two threads engaged, not enough to feel secure. Product seemed good quality otherwise and would likely work well with narrower bike frame

Expensive
As with all the other complaints, it's on the expensive side. Other than that, it's perfect. It has a Syntace adapter to fit bikes that use that type of axle. M12x1.0 was a perfect fit for my BMC Speedfox.

Quality
I couldn’t find this axel at all online and the nearest fit was considerably more expensive and not as good as this. Cheapest price I found quick delivery despite being on back order. Easy to fit well engineered very good product. If you need a trailer axel this is the one to go for

Works with croozer kids carriers!
Purchased after endlessly looking for something that would fit an older model croozer kids carrier. Only other place was a very expensive American company. I was really surprised how rare 12mm axle adaptors are where most are designed to work with quick release axles. The axle fitted perfectly on my MTB after confirming axle length and thread width. The spacers provided helped give it a good fit. It was tested out on a road and tow path style off road, no problems were encountered. I know its quite a niche market but if your after a croozer axle for an MTB with a 12mm axle. Look no further!

Dangerous. Thread too soft and pulled off
Worked fine, but got home today and noticed rear wheel was rattling. I was then able to just pull off the threaded section with little effort. This could have popped off what cycling For a £64 product this is insane.

100km gehalten.
