Installs easy, should work as designed - Update, it works great!
It installed easy but I haven't had a chance to use it yet. My puller is of a very first generation puller. I've had it 7 years or so plus my friend had it about the same. It's not powder coated nor does it have the modular boom. But, the hole pattern on it matched the Bulldog and the unit fit perfectly. Testiment to the mfgr. I also called Ace to have them send me the toggle switch and bracket as my old unit had to be unplugged to turn it off. Installed easy as well. Will give 5 stars once I use it. Oct 10, 2016 Update, the Bulldog works great. The only issue I have is it starts slip on line that has rested on the bottom and accumulated mud and/or come across slim from jelly fish. I just have to recognize when this and push on the wheel with my hand. All in all, works great for hands-free operation.

Great for the price !
I like that it's hands free.,but needed to make a little modified to fit it to my trac hauler. Now it works fine.

Good medium duty pot puller.
I really like this pot puller. It is quiet and has enough power to pull most non commercial crab and shrimp pots.
