Not bad but obviously cheaper Chinese product

So the box came and was completely in Chinese. I am kind of skeptical of the long term quality as well as the food safety aspect of the “anodized coating” they use. The one I received leaks where the spout meets the kettle while you pour which can be annoying for a brand new product. In the pictures I posted you can see the size of this kettle compared to a normal full sized kitchen kettle. It did help boil water faster based on the based design and boiled a half full kettle in 7 minutes and 30 seconds. Over all not bad be not great and I am concerned about the food safety of this long term.

Faster To Boil Than Our Copper Tea Kettle

We have been using a beautiful solid copper tea kettle on our sailboat's two burner LPG stove. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07612MYH9/ref=ppx_od_dt_b_asin_title_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 We bought the copper kettle for its high thermal conductivity. Ten months ago we bought this Bulin Camping 1.6L aluminum kettle hoping for a quicker boil. We got it. In a test this kettle boiled 0.750ml 57°F water in 4m 40s, and the copper kettle boiled 0.750ml 58°F water in 6m 47s. We have used our Bulin kettle perhaps 75 times. So far, so good. It is lighter and thinner. It is not as pretty, but it does not need polishing.
