This is a large Cable

This cable looks heavy duty and thick and not too heavy to use. This cable is going to be used to lock up my electric bike, mobility scooter and coolers when I camp, I do not think a standard bolt cutter would be able to cut it so people who use standard bolt cutters to steal belongings from campgrounds should have a harder time, I hope I will also be using U locks to secure my belongings I hope this works.

Heavy duty

Heavy duty cable to secure my generator. Bigger then expected and pleasantly surprised. Definitely will slow down a thief. I would definitely this again.

Avis combo lock too small

I like this cable because of the thickness and the security however I also like to have a good lock I have an abus combination lock, and I struggle to get both sides in the lock from the cable 5/8 cable and you can't just put one iN because the lock would just go right through the cable. Half inch would have been better

Appears sturdy a little stiff but that’s OK

I am using to secure my golf cart steering wheel to rear roof canopy. I am also using Brinks heavy duty key lock. Hopefully this will make my golf cart less attractive to thieves than other golf carts.

Super heavy duty cable for my bike

This is a heavy duty cable -- much beefier than my previous bike cable. I believe it will provide much more protection and would be much more difficult to cut. My intended use is to carry it in my vehicle and use it to secure my bike to my vehicle's bike rack when parked. As others have mentioned, this would be difficult to carry on your bike given its size and weight - not impossible but you'd need to get creative. Also, you need a big lock as smaller lock shackles might not be able to close around both loops given the cable's larger diameter. I think this is perfect for my intended use. 7 feet is a great length for me, but if you want to secure 2 bikes to a bike rack with 1 cable you may want to consider a longer length.

A Little Overkill for your Average Bicycle Cable, but for a eBike or Scooter Would be Very Good

Bought this cable for a bike in my condo bike room. I have 2 bikes and on the other one I have a Kyrptonite cable, which is thinner and easier to throw in pannier or backpack, etc. Was hoping to save a little money, as the Krptonite cable is more expensive - same length. This on the other hand is heavy duty, and while it's fine for the bike room, it would be heavy to carry. I think you could actually use this to anchor a small boat - no kidding. However, for an eBike, Scooter, etc., I think this is very heavy duty and I can't imagine trying to cut through this easily.

Simply awesome

I use this for my generator and it works great. I did however need to find a lock that could fit both loops into it as they are large diameter and there is zero flex in the cable. I do wish I could find one a bit longer but this one is great for sure.

Better Than Most

I use this steel Anaconda to lock my ebike in sketchy areas. Remember that old joke when camping in a jungle full of Tigers, you only have to run faster than the slower guy to live. Well, kind of the same for this cable. The thief might just take the next bike because yours is wrapped up thick and secure. Not easy pickings when teamed up with a solid padlock. I don't see many others on the bike racks as secure. Perfect length for locking a few bikes together or a single thru the wheels and frame.
