Perfect replacement for the original
I have an old Craftsman lawn tractor (917.255430) with 12½ HP Briggs & Stratton engine model 286707 type 0441-01, and I can certify this cylinder head gasket is an exact fit replacement for the original one. There was nothing wrong with the original but I had to take the head off to fix the intake valve seat and of course had to replace the head gasket in the process. (At first I thought the gasket didn't fit because the holes didn't line up, but then I flipped it over and everything matched perfectly.) Based on the package this appears to be an OEM part right from Briggs & Stratton. Engine's back together and it works great!

Decent gasket
The gasket came as advertised and fit my Briggs and Stratton Genpower 11 perfectly. Time will tell how well it holds up; I expect it will do fine. Four stars because the gasket was creased in the middle where it had been partially folded in half, probably during shipping. It came in a bubble walled tan shipping envelope. Better packing would keep it from folding in shipping.

Request a box shipment, and cardboard sides for protection from bending...
They put it in a bag along with a 2-pound spool of welding wire. The welding wire won.

Mine came bent
My gasket had been bent as others had mentioned. Its Briggs and Stratton's fault for not putting a piece of cardboard in the packaging to keep it flat. I went ahead and installed it even though it didn't look great and it seems to be holding for now.

Got this for an old B&S 11 or 12 hp engine on a murray mower. Fit was correct & I ordered another one for a 12.5 hp B&S I have. Have not yet installed the second one

Ouch.
Don’t believe this is Amazons issue., but a supply chain issue. The head gasket was quite literally folded in quarters inside the sealed oem bag. Pictures are after opening and unfolding the gasket. Have my doubts wether it will be able to seal the head on a B&S engine effectively.

Die Briggs and Stratton Zylinderkopfdichtung passt perfekt und konnte gut in unserem Aufsitzmäher verbaut werden. Wir würden die Dichtung immer wieder kaufen.
