Of all the labels, these stay on

I have tried many label makers over the years and various types of labels for those devices... every single one I've tried eventually falls off either from the friction/bending of wrapping cables or the heat from an exhaust fan at the back of some equipment. A couple months ago I got the Brady BMP-21Plus labeler and these labels and I couldn't be happier. These self-laminating labels look professional and they stay on the cables. I have not had a single one fall off yet and I've been through a move and a re-wire so there was plenty of opportunity from heat on the road, in storage, friction of pulling/bending cables. These are the only labels I'll use moving forward for any type of cable marking. I feel they're a bit pricey compared to other manufacturers and you get about half the length that other manufacturers offer but the performance outdoes everyone else in this field. Brady probably knows that and that's why they can sell these at a premium.

Makes nice clean labels!

I recently switched over to the Brady Labeler, and these self-laminating labels. They are able to get 1.5" wide by having the label and clear wrap folded in half when it comes out of the cassette, so the cassette is standard size for the Brady labeler and sits in the machine flush. The labels it prints are very nice, and it works great for even very long description type labels that need to be affixed to the cable. It does leave some sticky residue if you have to pull the label off, but a dab of rubbing alcohol takes care of that. They definitely stay on the cables and produce a very high quality look when done.

Brady labels simply suck.

When they work they make great wire wraps. The seller sent me 4 correct out of the 5 I ordered, the 5th one was black on white nylon, which I never use. So that was an immediate waste. Additionally Brady cartridges in general displease me. I have feed issues with the foreground layer often, as they don't seem to be spooled tight enough from factory. One of my cartridges jammed it's foreground layer almost instantly and I couldn't rewind it without breaking it, so I really got 3 for the price of 5. Previously I had gotten all correct labels from this seller, so I think getting a wrong cartridge was a fluke, but overall I'm not satisfied with the Brady label system. These Brady labels have better adhesion than the brother labels when used as wire wraps, but for labeling flat surfaces, I'd suggest brother labels everyday. They're cheaper and don't waste a whole cartridge when/if you do get a jam.

We use them for labeling low voltage wiring on HVAC equipment. These are a perfect label for the task.

Careful with the sizing.

This stuff works and is great, but it is sized differently than the normal label material for these labelers. The 1.5 inch of this variety is the same size as the 3/4 inch of the type that comes with the labeler when you purchase it, the non vinyl type.

I love the product, but not the price.

I think these are way overpriced, but I have not found a better alternative. The product itself is great, in my opinion. I like these which "self-laminate", which just means it has a clear strip which wraps over the printed part.

By far the cleanest way to label Cat5/6/7, HDMI, Coax, etc. cables. I used to use "flag" type of label, but when you have a 48-port switch, that becomes a mess. These are clean, wrapped around cable with translucent protective layer over top. Best solution by far, short of buying a $700 commercial label printer. Oh, and shell out money for your label printer power cable. Batteries die like crazy.

Great but expensive

Great labels that will stay attached to cables for years and not peel off. However they are rather expensive, so drop a star. However I’ve not found anything else that stands the test of time.

Great but lots of waste material

Using Brady Express Label v. 2.5.0 on iPhone 13 Printing on M21-1500-427. I am printing a sequence of labels with text imported from Excel. It is printing fine, but it leave lots of blank spaces between each labels. So it will waste about 50% of the tape going to trash.

Wow... super expensive, but some of the highest quality network cable labels I have ever used. Pass the cost along to your customer and enjoy using some of the best labels in the business. 4 star rating based on the price, 6 stars for quality!
