finally a jar opener that works
it works on larger jars as well as smaller. Well made, a little spendy, but it gets the job done.

Hands don’t hurt anymore
This helps prevent injury to my hands as I find it difficult opening some jars? Pretty much every new jar. This makes it so much easier I am actually glad I don’t need to ask for help anymore. As I had this same product when I was in England and am glad I was able to buy it in the USA now.

Most people need one of these
For many people a strong grip is not something they can rely on. Opening some bottles, large lids on preserves, even removing a champagne cork is something you cannot accomplish simply with your hands. Try the Brabantia opener.

LOVE this tool!
I have had one of these for years and mine was getting a little loose and worn out. So, I decided I better get a new one while they were still available. I am losing my grip a little and this tool is essential in the kitchen. I use it literally everyday. One very pleasant surprise was they have improved this new one over my old one. The metal grippers are just a little bit deeper and now I can open jars (with plastic lids) that the old one would slip off of. You will not regret having this tool in your kitchen!

Wish I'd bought one earlier
With arthritis I've always found jars mostly impossible to open which was very frustrating. I bought this hoping it may help and it's been well worth it. Finally I've managed to get the lid off a jar of beetroot without asking my neighbour to help. It's well made and looks like it'll last.

Helps with arthritic hands
I have tried numerous so called jar/bottle openers only to find they didnt work on large jars. This Brabantia opener works!! It opens everything from bottles of water to large beetroot/pickle jars and the one product that defeats me everytime......bleach!! My neighbour, who is 86yrs old, has to wait for her family to visit her in order to have her bottles/jars opened so I have bought her one and she finds it very easy to use. She has arthritis in both hands so its a little more difficult for her to open big jars but she manages the smaller jars and bottles. Would highly recommend.

Worked ok on smaller jars
I think if you have smaller hands this type might not be ideal. Worked fine on a small jar for my daughter but didn’t help her with a big jar.
