Just what I needed

If you need a big long drill bit, this is one of those!

I needed to drill a hole to run a wire from a lower kitchen cabinet to the basement, but I don't have any other bits that are long enough. I was ready to head over to Home Depot to buy something like this, and then thought "wait- I have Prime." I checked on here, and found this super-long drill bit for under four bucks. I was then able to procrastinate on that project, which I was happy about. I successfully drilled that hole, and this drill bit did not have any problems. I have no idea how this compares to other, similar drill bits, but it was one of the cheapest options. Also, I have been buying only Bosch wiper blades for the cars for several years now, and I firmly believe that they are significantly better than others I've used (Anco maybe?). Not that automotive wiper blades are relavent here, but I have some faith in the integrity of Bosch products based on their wiper blades. I suspect that this drill bit will have years- maybe even decades- of infrequent use. Also, I'm totally prepared if anyone ever asks "hey- do you have a really long drill bit that I can borrow?"

Exactly what I expected

I bought this long drill bit to drill into a facia board at my home to verify the location of a hole in my attic. It worked great for that purpose. Note, that only the first few inches of the bit has the cutter and the rest of the bit is just shaft. Because it has such a small shaft diameter, it can bend the bit if you're forcing it at an angle. In all, a good product for a good price.

sturdy and does the job

For the price this is an excellent drill bit. I used this to drill pilot holes in a guitar body at a very flat angle and this did the job perfectly. Not flimsy at all. Should hold up for a while. High quality especially for the price.

Got it to drill deep pilot holes for screws when making wooden gates. Works fine.

good for a couple of drills

worked well for a couple if times on wood and dry wall but the tip got dull after that. not what i have come to expect from Bosch.

Essential for drilling Guitar wiring routes - Bosch BL2735 Drill Bit

This Bosch Drill bit is fantastic quality. at 1/8th" thick, I was hoping it would be very rigid and it is. I can now drill guitar wiring routes with confidence that the bit will not deviate. Why I wrote this review --------------------------- I am creating and stocking a guitar building workshop. Great if I purchased used

I'm sure the drill bit is great. Would have been greater if the packaging didn't look like it was opened. Possibly some one bought it and returned it after opening. For the same price, I could have just purchased it brand new at my local home hardware centre.

Debes tenerla en tu taller, además está barata, no seas codo, no se usa diario pero cuando te haga falta se paga solita. Te evita la frustración de parar. Dale click, además está bien hecha, nomás cuidala por que se dobla si le cargas de más, obvio.

Answer to a problem

I wanted to do some electrical work that would have me drill through six inches of material. This bit made short work of it, giving me a pilot hole to drill out from both sides for the wire. Since I am a weekend handyman the quick delivery allowed me to schedule with the weather.
