Good Cooler But Watch For Leaks

this is an excellent spacious cooler that keeps everything nice and cool but the drain plug at the back comes untwisted and leaks water real easily so it's necessary to keep it nice & tight! It Always comes loose seemingly so this is very Important. The cooler will jostle around in your Car or Truck Very Easily So You May End Up With A Puddle By The End of the Day. This Cooler Will Keep Ice Solid In The Hot Florida Sun For About 3 Days Total. And keep The Latches At The Front Snapped Tight At All Times To Prevent Warming. Also. Best True Review.

Perfect for my weekend camping!

This is a smaller cooler which suits my camping needs! It fits great in the van, keeps my perishables for the weekend, and can also be used as an extra seat. It is a smaller, hard-sided, plastic cooler with a handle. The creamer (priorities!), half doz eggs, pound of bacon, pound of grd beef, and more all fit into this with a bit of creativity.

OK; handle wobbles

Lots of space with not too wide walls to make it heavy. Handle extensions too loose so it wobbles when extended. Don't like that I will have to baby it.

Multi use

Perfect for my Sous-vide but even greater fort checked bag flying region Seafood on airplanes. I just remove handle and place it in other luggage. With ice packs the size will fit just under 50lbs perfect.

Very good ice keeping, especially blocks

This isn't a $400 ice chest and doesn't keep ice or stuff like one, but pre-chill it, put block ice in it, it will surprise you with how well it does. I got 2-25 lb bulk blocks and some pieces in mine-couple of pounds of rock salt for a freezing mixture to pre-chill it about 16 hours, then 2-25 lb blocks. My food went in a smaller cooler with about 16 lb. of crushed ice that lasted about 32 hours. By then, there was room with melting and ice usage for my food. Low 90* temps, had ice for 5 days, robbing it for soft drinks often. $5 worth of bulk ice pre-cooling and 5 days "camping"-no gripes due there! Make the temps in the 100's and I'd expect to use a 25 lb block+ every 2 days.

90qt Fits a 34" space under a leaning post just right; Kept ice for 3 day read full description!

All dimensions of these coolers are their outermost measurements to include the width of the handles or any "extremities". I tried the 70qt as it said it was 32" inches wide thinking I'd have 2" on either side. Was more like 3.75" of space on each side and the cooler would have slopped around in the gap. Then picked the 90Qt as it said 35" wide. Fits perfect under my leaning post. I added some cooler feet meant for an RTIC brand cooler to raise it up a bit to clear a floor access port, give some grip on the floor of my boat and be able to rinse anything out from under it without removing it. Just took it to the FL Keys this past weekend. 84°F the whole weekend. Threw ~30lbs of ice in bags into the cooler which only filled in ~25%. It ended up being too windy to take the boat out so I never actually used the ice but the cooler was good enough to keep some of it frozen for 3 full days which is impressive for a cooler at this price-point. This 90qt is a solid offering from Igloo.

Excellent product, does what it says

I needed a good cool box to transport some frozen items back home from the UK. The reviews for the Igloo seemed to be just what I wanted. Rather than sing its praises I will just tell you my experience and you can make your own mind up to see if it's what you want. The task, to transport a frozen gammon and a frozen joint of beef back to my home in France. The trip overnight totalled 27 hours. The meat, well frozen, was taken out of the freezer and put into the igloo at 7:30 am. I also filled it with other chilled items from the fridge, topped with ice packs. The box was then put in the boot of the car. I didn't open again until I arrived home at 11:30 am the next day. The items were unpacked. The meat was still frozen solid and the ice packs had not melted. That is just what I wanted it to do. If thats what you are looking for buy one. I can well believe the claims made for the effectiveness of this ice box.

Purchased this Igloo Marine Ultra Coolbox 5 Quart and it arrived in good condition and in good time, however, I am not overly impressed with the item. It does have a front latch (in stainless steel and plastic which I required) that secures closure but the rear hinges are plastic and will no doubt split or crack or malfunction in time (stainless hinges could be found to replace these) I could not determine this at time of ordering and presumed that the rear hinges would match the front latch in stainless...lol...after all it is designed to be used in Marine conditions. The coolbox is very lightweight and strong but the walls, lid and floor seem very thin and therefore may not provide good insulation? I've not used it yet but my initial impression is that it is not worth the money I paid. Graham

Keeps things cool for days.

Fantastic cool box, keeps things chilled for days. A little pricier than most, but definitely worth the money. Kept my ice blocks frozen for 3 days whilst fishing.

Keeps food cool - good large size too!

We take this out on camp trips in the boot of our car - with appropriate cool packs, it keeps the food cool and safe for 48 hours with repeated trips to get things out of it. Was quite the luxury to have ice for cocktails out in the middle of the highlands on day 2!
