Great snack bag

This bag is the perfect size for small lunches or snacks when hiking and traveling. Folds up so that it takes minimal space in the freezer. Stays cold for hours!

Totally worth it

When I just want to take a yogurt to work, I don't want to take a whole lunchbox to keep it cold (because warm yogurt: ewwww). This little thing fits a standard cup of yogurt, spoon and napkin with room to spare for some trail mix or something. The 'cold pack' is build into one wall of the bag, so you just freeze the whole thing and it's good to go (it just lives in my freezer when not being used). The gel is only in one side (to make the bag more flexible, I think), so your item is not surrounded by cold. If you want to keep it cold longer, freeze the yogurt (or other food), too. Used that way, I had cold yogurt after a 4 hour hike in the White Mountains of NH in mid-summer. As far as ease of use: can you operate a zipper? You're good.

Great Snack Bag

I'm a photographer and can sometimes be in the field or traveling for several hours. I freeze this bag in advance and then pop in some cheese and other snacks so I can have something to snack on. Its a great size for snack while still fitting in my camera bag.

Great for school snacks

My son has used this for the 1st semester of kindergarten and it still looks brand new. I love that I’m able to send him yogurt, meats and cheeses and other healthy snacks that need to be chilled. It rinses out easy, fold flat in the freezer, is easy to zip for my son and holds a decent amount. It’s the perfect size for him. I can send a yoplait and granola bar with room leftover. I also love that it comes in cute prints. It’s worth the money!

Great for keeping snacks cool

These are nice for keeping snacks cool. My daughter uses it for snack time at school for fruit and yogurt. It is more spacious than it looks. I don’t put fruit or snacks directly in the bag (unless to comes packaged). It is a little hard to clean the nooks and crannies of the bag. It doesn’t stay cold for too long, especially on warm/hot days (which are few here in the PNW), so I wouldn’t store perishables in here for too long if it’s hot out (yogurt/cheese, etc.). Otherwise, we like it and would recommend.

Slightly smaller than I thought

Gave 4 stars only because I thought they were a little bigger. I got these because they had the built in reusable ice pack. I use them for my kids to take their snack in for school. When they get home in the afternoons, the bag and any leftovers are "cool". Not cold, but not hot either. I put them in my regular freezer after school and pack them around 7:15A and unpack between 3:30P-4P. The cooling gel is only on 1 side, as well. I also use a chalk marker to write on the side for labeling. I usually have to remark about 4-6 weeks.

Small capacity, but keeps things cool

Like other reviewers said, it doesn’t hold much. It seems to keep things cold, which is why I bought it in the first place. I usually have to put items in a ziplock bag to fit it in. I don’t own many ziplock bags because they are one-use. I usually put things in reusable containers, which don’t fit because they’re too big. It’s easier for me to use an ice pack. It looks like a makeup bag.

Bought 2. it's ok but I think the ice pack in one broke

I just wanted it to hold a couple energy drinks and it worked ok. Didn't keep them really cold, but reasonably chilled. Unfortunately, I think the ice pack broke because everything gets slimy. But I bought 2 and the other is still ok.

Parfait pour les collations

Je les utilise depuis déjà 2 ans. C'est vraiment pratique pour les collations d'école de mes filles. La grosseur est parfaite. J'aurais pris un peu plus de surface congelé, mais ça va. J'ajoute un mini ice pack dans chaque pour m'assurer encore plus de la fraicheur des yogourts :)

Really useful for school bags

I bought this because my daughter's high school bag is packed so full that she couldn't fit in a proper-sized lunch bag. This mermaid bag looks good but also fits easily into her backpack along with a handbag-sized water bottle. It can easily fit a wrap, some cheese, packet of yogurt-covered treats, some chocolate, etc. The bag keeps the cheese cool until lunch.

I have 5 of these in different sizes

Yes, I have 5 because that’s how well they work! Simple to use so I don’t have to use up space for ice packs in our snack pouches. They don’t sweat. But the best thing is that it can last over 4 hours outdoors in 30+ weather. Our frozen treats remained perfectly frozen after 2 hours. Highly recommended!

One of the few star purchases made as a new mum.

This handy freezable bag is GREAT! OMYGOODNESS. It has saved my life going back to work. No more lugging around my breast pump and a bulky food bag and ice packs (pheew!). Cannot wait to use this for little snacks in summer after COVID-19 (SOOOO summer 2021 then!).
