1* for intended purpose 3.5* for a large wash bag.
I use this only as a large bag to wash more delicate washable items in. I do not use as a place to store/haul the laundry in. As a matter of fact that was so far from my mind as a intended purpose I had to look at the listing again to see how it was marketed as. Sure enough a regular old laundry bad & not a large wash bag. Silly rabbit. I cannot imagine this holding up to the weight of a full bag for very long. The mesh is not strong enough. I've had other types of mesh bags that could have most definitely withstood the weight and lasted, but this one is not of sufficient quality. Maybe, just maybe it would last a descent amount of time with only half filled bags or smaller. It would also be less awkward to carry any distance. I couldn't imagine anyone choosing to have this as their laundry bag in their home unless it met their budget. It is marketed for the dorm room, but it is still a lousy choice. As I recall laundry is jam packed to the brim until mum can do it or you get off your butt & lug it down to the laundry room, which if you aren't lucky to live right next door to would be a pain in the but with this bag! Sure the bag has long thin drawstrings that you can use to drag it around or throw over your shoulder, but they dig into your shoulders or hands. Unless this is all your budget can afford one would be better off spending a little more upfront and getting something that you will not need to replace a few times before term finishes and that will be more comfortable bringing it home to mum :) It is "okay" for a large wash bag to throw a delicate washable dress in or a few blouses in, etc. It has lasted longer than it's predecessor, which I have no idea what brand it was. That came undone in less than a dozen uses. This bag has withstood 3-4 dozen washings, but is starting to show the signs of wear. The slider that helps to keep the clothes locked in is about to go. While it is easy enough to work around by just knotting the drawstrings, I think it should last more than a few quick washes on delicate. The bag itself is starting to show the signs of wear. Again, I should think it could withstand twice as much use to get to this state, considering the gentle conditions. Then again it did last longer than the previous one, so.... I was very surprised that the synthetic material that it is made out of held on to the dark color of my dark load of clothes. It is now a dingy blue/grey color, which until recently did not bleed into subsequent lighter loads. For some reason a brand new white blouse came out with a palm sized stain of that blue/grey stain from the bag that it was in. I'm not sure how or why the color was transferred, as there was plenty of water in the machine (top loader) and room for movement. Luckily an overnight soak & sun bleaching got the stain out of that poor doomed blouse (while the sun was doing it's work removing the stain a bird flew over head and left a not so little prezzie on it). Hopefully the 3rd time is the charm. I really like the blouse and would like to wear it at least once before the charity bin gets it! So be careful if you use this as a wash bag. Like I said the bag had went through at least a dozen loads with no dye transfer problems and then suddenly it did. Guess that means I'll have to get another bag for whites n' lights. I'll be trying another brand to see if I can't get one that holds up better. I definitely would not recommend as a laundry bag and is so-so for a wash bag.

Very sturdy loop
The loop is heavy duty. This proves to be really useful.

Great for holding pool toys!
I actually bought this to hold our pool toys for our above ground pool. Our volleyball always gets sucked over to the skimmer basket if left in the pool but trying to pack everything in & out of the house with a toddler is a chore! We have several different balls she loves to play with so those, plus rafts she calls boats, kick boards & a drink plus the little one... it's a pain to get everything to the pool! This is now zip tied to the top rail of the pool, conveniently holding all the balls & kick boards & other small to medium sized toys. I love that it has a heavy duty loop at the top and the push button toggle to hold the bag shut. I can see exactly what's in it, it's mesh so I don't have to worry about it holding water or mildew getting on anything (though we use the pool way to often for that to happen at the moment) & I can reach everything from inside the pool! Way cheaper & more convenient than a deck box!!

Organizes dirty laundry, especially in a small space!
This babe was so handy on my recent cruise. We kept it in our cabin and the kids, my husband and I used it as our dirty laundry bag. I had never tried that before, but knowing what a limited space we would have for 4 people, I wanted to try it out. It worked perfectly! We hung it from a doorknob and just knew all our sweaty, dirty clothes would be thrown in there. It kept all the dirty stuff in one place. When it came time for packing up, we just put the whole bag in one suitcase. It was sooooo handy because when we got home, I just took that bag to the washing machine & went to town. I didn't have to sort through everyone's luggage to guess what was dirty and what was not. It made it so easy and convenient for me! And when mom is happy, everyone is! I definitely will use it on any future trip we take. We also go away a lot of weekends and can see this coming in handy for that. So many great uses!

Buy several!
Background: My brother had a bag similar to this one and I've always used a bin for my laundry. For convenience, I figured I would give this offering a shot. GLAD I DID. Pros: -Fits a very decent amount of laundry considering its size -Upon use, there is no ripping of tears even with sizeable loads -The handle on the top of the bag is made with thick knitting. You can grab a good hold of the laundry bag with one hand if need be in order to carry upstairs or out the door. -THE PRICE. Very reasonable if you ask me, considering the quality. Recommendation: I would definitely recommend this product to college students or apartment living. Those with larger homes and kids might want something a tad bigger, but not by much. If i had to do anything different, I would have bought several instead of just the one. Very worth it!

Choose a bag like this
This bag is of sufficient capicity for a week's worth of clothes. Much better to use bags than bins or things with holes, as they can easily be fit in the washer with minimal risk of losing socks and small items.

Great buy, no stretch
These are great for the money. I got 2 for our laundry hampers. For those who want to use them as hamper liners, be aware that the mesh netting does not have much stretch or give to it. I had assumed it would based on other mesh bags I've used but these don't have much (if any) give to them. As such the circumference was just barely enough to fit the hampers that I bought. I had attempted to ask about the circumference and stretch of the bag opening before purchasing them and found the responses (either from the seller or the manufacturer, i forget) to mine and other Amazon inquiries to be useless and almost nonsensical. So for others wondering the same thing: measure carefully and don't expect it to stretch around the top of your hamper!

Good for cider pressing
So, a bit of a weird use case here. I pressed cider from fresh apples for the first time this year (to make hard cider). Using this bag inside a drilled-out bucket I was able to keep the cider pulp tightly within the bag and press out just the juice. Bag is made of thousands of tiny nylon/polyester? weaves, and you can tell it can hold a ton of weight or pressure. It worked wonderfully for this and washes right out. Definitely not using it for its intended purpose, but hey, in case you are a amateur cider maker and you are wondering; yes it does work. It also has nice long drawstrings you can close the top with. What more can I say? Its a good quality mesh bag that you can haul clothes or make cider with. thanks.

Awesome
We were looking for a durable mesh laundry bag that we use in the washing machine to replace the last one I had. This bag is great quality, quite large (so it fits a ton of delicate stuff), and the drawstring can be entirely tucked into the inside of the bag so it doesn’t tangle in the washing machine. So glad I found this one, the others I saw looked like crap and were more expensive.

Very useful for personal use
I was lucky to get it for price of 250 + del charge. Very useful for personal use. I give my office wears for ironing once in a week and this is useful i.e instead of using buckets or other storage that occupies space - i put all these clothes and put the entire bag into almirah -its easier. Also travel friendly, you can put back all the used clothes and dump it in dicky. Now it costs 1000+ - i was lucky to get in lower rate.
