Great product
This travel purse ample enough to fit passports, money and any additional things needed. The side has a side pocket where you can place a water bottle or a small pocket umbrella. Great product and I highly recommend it for any type of long extended traveling.

the fabric and security
the bag is great perfect for traveling on towns without having to worry about pickpocketing. My only issue was when I received the bag it was obviously some else's return because it still had some candy inside, I get it we all return stuff but at least take some time to look at it before reselling Other than that no complains LOVE THE BAG !!

Love this Day Pack!
This is my 2nd Travelon bag, love them both. We do volkmarches (10K or 6.2 mile walks, terrain and type of walk vary) and I was looking for a cross body bag to carry essentials, camera, etc... I also own the Travelon bucket bag and while I love it, I then tried this one because of the style. I have a Canon 70D, its a big, heavy camera. This bag fits my camera perfectly. I love pockets and this bag has a lot! Camera fits in center, there's a wallet area, other zip pockets. I do wish they had put the water bottle pocket on both side, not sure why they didn't. I roll up a small rain jacket and it fits perfectly in that side pocket so I like to have the other side for a water bottle. This time I used a carabiner to attach a water bottle. It was a lot of weight and it bounced around a little more than I like but worked fine. The bag itself is very light and sufficiently padded if you are carrying a camera. We have walked in rain and misty-drizzle and things inside have always been dry after being outside for several hours. I like the strap better on this bag, a little softer than the one on my bucket bag. The bucket bag style does offer a little more room in the main compartment so if I am carrying my zoom lens, I would have to use that one but I like the style of this one, and all the pockets a little better. Very happy with my purchase. If they make on just like this but maybe with another 2 inches in space, I'd buy that one too! And this isn't anything to judge a bag by but I ordered this in the Wine color and really like the color too. : )

Nice features, but don't be fooled ... not pick pocket proof
This bag was great for my European trip as far as it had all the features I was looking for as far as a water bottle holder, a front pocket to carry my traveling stuffed pig in (yes, you read that right; he's well-traveled), back zippered pocket (against my body) for my phone and was large enough to carry my travel guides, glasses, tissues, lip balm, Advil, hand sanitizer, etc. I spent a lot of time looking for the PERFECT theft-proof bag prior to my trip. It features latching zippers and slash-proof strap and sides. I did think, "If I was a thief, I would practice these zippers all day." Well, it turns out that I was right on that point: the latches don't slow down a thief at all. We were informed, prepared and cautious, but my sister was still pick-pocketed on the Rome metro. The thief had had no problem unlatching her purse (also a Travelon brand bag) and getting her credit card and cash. She took her hand off of the purse to hold onto our 75-year-old mother, so she wouldn't get pushed down in the crush. The only way to protect yourself is to put all your valuables in a neck or waist belt stuffed in your pants. Maybe the bag would be beneficial in countries where slashing is a real issue, but for pickpocketing, it won't stop them. In fact, the bags clearly mark you as a tourist as they are obviously "anti-theft bags." The bags are on the heavy side too from the extra mesh. If I am blessed to go to Europe again, I will carry a lighter regular bag that I love and put anything I don't want to be stolen in my pants! Pros: good pockets for organizing; large pocket on the backside for phone, metal for protecting against slashing; two side pockets that can be used for water bottles or small umbrella. Cons: screams "I'm a tourist! Target me!;" strap is not very comfortable (thin in width and can feel metal cables); heavy; latches do not slow down pickpockets. I struggle with how to rate the bag. It's a well-organized bag, but fails on its primary purpose.

Loved size and features
Husband ended up carrying this most of the time during our trip to Italy. We loved the size, convenience and security featured zippers. Very durable and not too big.

Nice bag for personal stuff when flying.
I like it. It seems to be well constructed with good closures. I am very pleased with the security features, especially the RFID and anti cutting strap. Not too heavy for the size and nice compartment to store various sized and shaped items. This bag is shaped to be worn most efficiently with the strap on the opposite side of the head from the bag for security purposes. The bag can then be under your arm or slightly in front of the arm or centered. The height adjustment is liberal enough so that individuals of various height will be comfortable with whatever length feels best to them. To me this bag will carry my passport, drivers license, cash, credit cards,meds, iPad and phone. There will be room to carry my noise canceling headphones when going on a flight along with the usual power pack, chargers and cables. I wear this personal item bag along with a authorized carry on sized pack. This to me is perfect so that my hands are free all the time in case something happens. No need to dig around when at my assigned seat delaying other passengers and myself. If the overhead is filled the pack goes under the seat in front and I still have my needed stuff in this bag.

Worth the money.
This is the second bag we have had from Travelon, the first for my wife was a handbag. The security features of these bags is what we wanted after some friends were robbed on the Rome underground, apparently quite common in Italy. The bags are well made and appear to be well thought out for their anti theft features, with anti slash and cut, catches on the zips and RFID blocking. They are a bit expensive and the cost of delivery is high as they come from the US but worth the extra security they offer. You will never beat these thieves but you can make life more difficult for them.

Very handy bag for travelling. Can get a lot in it.
Fabulous bag for our city break to Napoli. Lots of handy pockets, great antitheft zips and RIFD protectiin in the inside pocket. Very handy water bottle holder that zips up when not in use. Thinking of buying another. Have recommended to friends.

Torch doesn’t work

It does what it has been ask to do
Smaller than my previous one where the zips in the curves ended up breaking (too expensive to repair at the shoemaker) and the seams ended up coming apart too. I finally bought this one in 2019. Very fair for a normal iPad, the bottle in the side pocket holds despite looking like it wants to fall off anytime. After 3 years, still in good condition, the weak points are the friction points (see photo). It will not be possible to have it repaired because the seams are too complex and the cost of the shoemaker will be higher than buying a new one.
