Has an extra lock and it's study but wish it has more room inside

I purchased this for my Europe trip. It has an extra lock so that make pickpocket a bit harder. They could still open it if they have enough time, I guess. One day someone bumped at me on the street... I apologized but I realized I should check my bag... The anti thief lock was opened!! Glad he didn't have enough time to open my bag. So I think this bag did serve the purpose of giving the pickpocket people more trouble when they do their job :) The bag is sturdy but that mean it's heavier. I just wish it is bigger size so I can put more stuffs in it. I do have lots of stuffs to carry normally....

Great 4 Travel

Quality! Definitely recommend. Perfect size for my needs. Strap is stiffer than what I’m used to but it’s made to withstand slashing. Strap is easily adjustable which is good if you ant to keep it closer to your upper body or if you want to let it out and secure it to a chair. Nice gold tone accents with hooks the will keep everything safe. Inside has a nice zippered pocket and there is slot for cell phone and 1 for passport with several RFID slots for credit cards. Can hold one bottle of water.

Faux leather doesn't last

With daily use, the faux leather starts to peel. If you are OK with that then this is a great bag. It has all the saftey features I need, and it"s roomy, but the faux leather just doesn't last.

Perfect Purse

Great looking bag. Security features made me feel confident in large crowds touring Europe. Roomy interior holds tons of needed items and interior wallet secures cash, credit cards. Interior light very handy.

LOVED this bag

I felt so safe carrying this bag around during my travels . The safety features are great. It’s the perfect size too- not huge and not small. Kept my passport, Wallet, phone , keys. Highly recommend

What happened to Travelon quality?

I'll start off by saying that this is the 4th Travelon bag I've ordered. The first problem with this one is that I had to return the first two because the "Travelon" logo on the outside of the bag was crooked and partially coming off. Then, sadly, the quality of this hardware is very cheap-looking. Even worse is that the zipper fasteners no longer lock the way that they used to, only clipping to another one. I've been waiting for years for Travelon to come out with a good-looking purse with gold hardware,.but what a disappointment. Even though the gold would look much classier for my evenings in Paris, I think I'll dust off one of my old ones with better theft protection. Next time, I'll look to Bagollini or Pac-Safe.

Nice

I have not used it yet. I purchased it for our trip to Italy. But it looks sturdy. Enough room for what I need it for. And safety features are all good.

Good but has a design flaw

Overall I like this purse and it's been mostly great on my trip that involves lots of walking and travel. However, it has a major design flaw that you can see in the pictures with the clasp of the strap. I can't tell you how many times this opened itself and fell off of me. It's really annoying because you don't even know it has happened until the purse falls onto the ground. Definite design flaw.

Stylish and functional

I really like the size of this purse, the floral design (and I have never bought purses with floral designs before) is tastefully done and I like the rfid protection. Just big enough for essentials and a sunglasses case. Nicely finished and the zipper details are nice touches. The slot for your phone could be deeper. Not that I'm travelling now, but it will go with me on trips in the future. For now, I wanted a crossbody purse so I didn't have to place it in a grocery cart or have to set it down somewhere while the pandemic is ongoing.

Looks good!

Like the look and the fact it has the security feature, however have to comment - not sure how good the security features are, after all while walking the clasp jumped out on its own and my bag fell to the ground twice on a trip to SouthAfrica!! Would have loved to have had a tighter clasp. Still in South Africa so not sure if this can be replaced by the vendor.

Lightweight, stylish

This bag is the best I've ever tried from Travelon: it's stylish and not obviously travel-safety-bag-y, and lightweight, whereas another I've tried from Travelon was too heavy by far.

Great size, but one of the two anti-theft zippers arrived broken

Love the size. More compartments than expected. Will be great for my upcoming trip to Europe. Was disappointed that one of the anti-theft zipper clips is broken. Zips fine, but doesn't close to connect to "lock."

Strong. Sturdy. Secure. I absolutely loved this bag. I felt more secure traveling with it. Very strong and very difficult for any pickpockets to open it
