Expected better from expensive Bormioli

I own other Bormioli glasses and wanted to add more to my collection. They are comfortable to hold and beautifully simple in design. However, between the two sets of 4 Nadia glasses I received recently, 4 glasses had bumps on the rim large enough to feel uncomfortable. At a fairly hefty price and with the Bormioli label, I expected far better. I still need 4 more to complete my set and will continue to order and return until I get a full set with smooth rims.

Not what I needed, a bit small.

This is a petite glass, it was a bit heavy when I filled it with water. I have small hands and it seemed to slide in my hand making it difficult to hold. They are quite simple in design a bit plain. if anything a guest may comment on the small size and austere style. These may be the perfect taller, but not tall water glass.

I really wanted to love these...

I picked up a set of these exact same glasses at Bed, Bath and Beyond a year ago, and they've been amazing. Unfortunately, I broke a few of them - which is totally my fault - so, I was happy to buy a replacement. These are *gorgeous* glasses in general, However, in many subtle ways that add up, the glasses I got from Amazon are of a worse quality. They feel much cheaper; the glass isn't as refined. The original glass has a tiny cross logo that with "Bormioli Rocco" text on the bottom and a beautiful glass bubble trapped inside. The new glasses from Amazon have neither. It's very difficult to convey these differences, especially since I've been using the old glasses for a year. The best way I can describe it is this - you know when you go to a Dollar Shopper or a similar type of store and can get glasses for a dollar? That's what the glass here kind of feels like. Sad to return these, although the glass model is beautiful - I guess I'll just have to pick then up from Bed, Bath and Beyond again.

Nice glass and proved durable

It's hard to tell by the photos how thin the glass is. I thought this may be an issue until I accidently hit the side of the glass on my tile countertop and it didn't break. It may be thin, but it is definitely durable. I also needed time getting use to the weight being noticeably heavy towards the bottom. So for the first couple of weeks I wasn't too happy. After several more uses, I began to change my opinion. The glass proved it's toughness and I got used to the feel of the cooler. Now, I can recommend it without reservation.

Worth every penny. Great quality and no rough seams

I recently ordered this set of Bormioli glasses, and now I'm back to buy more. They are just perfect for my needs. They are a nice large size, but aren't too big. Perfect for a handful of ice cubes and some soda or iced tea. All four glasses I received were in flawless condition, with no damage during shipping or flaws in the glass from production. There are no rough or sharp seams in the glass anywhere. The glass is very solid in weight and heavy on the bottom, to help prevent the glass from tipping over. The glass is thick enough that they can bump into another cup and they don't shatter. They are crystal clear, with no coloring or shadowing in the glass anywhere. These are the perfect glasses at an affordable price!

All gone, already!

The Bormioli Rocco Nadia Coolers are nice looking glasses, but my set of 4 have all broken already. The last one broke a few weeks ago leading to the entire set having been lost in about 6 months. In the same time, the only other glasses we've lost have been some cheap wine glasses. I would not recommend these unless you are very careful and certainly not if you wash dishes by hand and do it in any volume.

We love these glasses, which we bought a year ago, along with a set of Anchor Hocking Reality 16-Ounce Large Tumblers. They're quite similar to each other in size and shape and we like them both. The Bormioli Rocco Nadia Cooler is slightly thicker around the middle than at the rim. They are nice looking and feel sturdy. They don't tip over easily, perhaps because of the weight of the thick base. None has broken, though we use them regularly and wash them in the dishwasher (no children in the house). An advantage I hadn't considered is that because of the smooth, flat bottom, water doesn't collect there in the dishwasher as it does in some other glasses and cups that have indented bottoms.

It came completely shattered

The glasses were shattered and left a cloud of glass dust on my table and floor, which was a pain to clean up
