Quality items that do the job
This set of push blocks and sticks was purchased after a too close of a call with a table saw blade. Trying each piece out for the first time made me realize that I had only been making using the table saw more difficult and dangerous than it needed to be. The grip of the push blocks is grippy enough and was able to grip and push birch plywood with some light saw dust on it without any slippage. My only issue with the set is that it includes the push stick that is located at the bottom of the stock photo. I received a push stick like this with my table saw and I've found that a push stick of this design is not as stable or controllable as one would like. The other push stick included in this set, however, is stable and allows the user to be in control. If it were up to me I'd prefer a cheaper 4 piece set that did not include the lesser push stick.

Great safety device, nice color for easy finding
I should have purchased these sooner. They are very reasonably priced, and they are nice and bright. Because they are easy to find, I end up using this safety equipment more often now, instead of failing to quickly find them and then putting my fingers close to the blade unnecessarily. Great product. The rubber soles of the pushers can perhaps be more sticky, but they work well enough.

Not Bad for the Bucks
Not bad for the price. I like the regular push stick and the foam bottom push pads. I have not used the long one with the handle and knob. The old classic one with the vertical handle and notched at the bottom makes me too nervous to use. The notch is only about 1/4" and being made of pretty slick plastic I am fearful of it slipping loose and me jamming my hand into the blade or guard. So I pass on using that one and hence the 4 stars.

It's good to have choices
The mantra for working around a table saw is or should be: It's a table saw. Do you know where your fingers are? Having said that, MLCS offers a 5-Piece Safety Push Block and Stick Package with five highly visible orange dodads to choose from, at a very reasonable price. MLCS makes it very easy to do the right thing. Buy them. They're cheap insurance. Keep all five of 'em right there within arms reach, just like the picture shows. Be choosey. One of those babies is bound to be the one that'll keep your precious apendages away from the whirling teeth of death. Then use them and use them and use them. The idea being to have the same number of digits when you leave the shop as when you walked in.

Good starter set
I bought these because I had recently ordered a new table saw. I did not want to make my own push stick right off the start so I ordered this set to get me going so I can make my own custom set later on. This set is pretty good given the cost of them, but I would not expect them to last for a long time. Overall, for what I have used them for, they have held up nicely and they got me started with my new saw.

Cheap. Effective. 'nuff said!
These are just solid plastic, nothing special. "China" written all over them for quality. And that's actually a good thing in the case of something that just may go through a sharp blade. No tears if they get hurt in the table saw or jointer. At this price, it's way more cost-effective than a visit to the emergency room to sew a finger back on!! And they do work just like you'd expect them to.

Good but check other brands as well
Yes you can make your own safety blocks and get creative, but picked them up in the middle of a DIY project. Nice anti-skid base and good color. Safety is a large industry and who'd argue with "better to be safe ....". Good value only if you need more than one of them. Also check out powertec brand on Amazon, saw them with some friends and they appear to be of the same design and quality but lower price.

My friend ruined my favorite one by accidentally running it into the saw blade. THAT IS WHY I ASKED HIM TO USE IT!
I know, I know...I'm a woodworker, why didn't I just MAKE my own shop helpers instead of buying them? Well, you know how it is, sometimes you just need to get working. This a nice set, a good variety of useful helpers especially for tablesaw and jointer. I have already designed and fabricated my own custom helpers for a few very task-specific operations, but this is great "get started already" set.

Great Value Good Quality!
This is an excellent kit for anybody doing woodwork! They items are sturdy and light weight. The pads hold very well on pretty much any surface. Made it much easier to push large pieces of melamine through the table saw. Good value for the price!

Great for the price
I bought these after badly cutting my thumb on my jointer as I didn't have a proper push block to safely run the wood through it. The plastic is a bit cheap feeling, but the pads seem to grip wood very well. I think these are a must have for anyone doing woodworking. Your fingers are worth the price of getting these!

Great set of tools.
Safety is just too important NOT to have these tools. I have others also (Gripper), but you just can't get enough safety tools.
