Cheap price, quality product

These rings are a great alternative to the other more expensive rings. When I started looking into training with rings, I was shocked at how much other companies were charging for them. As a result, I started looking to make my own rings and straps. I bought the cam buckle straps from Home Depot and I was going to use PVC to build the rings. There are tons of instructions online about how to make rings, but after all the work and materials, these rings still come out cheaper, and who am I kidding much better. You might be tempted to think that cheap price means cheap quality, but that couldn't be further from the truth for this product. I went to the local fitness store and the cheapest set was a Rogue set for over $100. The price went up from there depending on the type of ring you want -- wood, metal, or plastic. Additionally, (and this is the missing feature that took away one star -- really only half a star) the straps on the Rogue set have marks on them that makes it easy to adjust and make them even. If however you want a sturdy set that you have to eye ball to adjust that won't break your bank, this is the set for you. I am thoroughly satisfied with this set. The straps are strong, the rings are textured, and the set is exactly what you're looking for. Plus, for this price, you can afford to take a chance on them.

Within a few weeks I broke one of the metal ...

Within a few weeks I broke one of the metal clamps. The product still works though its a little harder to use. I emailed the company and got an immediate response from Rich. I had included photos of the broken piece and he immediately sent me a USPS tracking number for the new strap. I have not received it yet, but I have no doubt its on the way. Since then I broke the other clamp...but this time I saw what happened. I had allowed the clamp to move down toward the ring, and while doing tricep dips with the ring, the ring was applying force directly to the clamp and that is what snapped it. I realize now it snapped because I used it incorrectly. Just be sure that when you apply your weight to the rings the clamp portion is not close to the ring and I am sure it won't break. I ordered a second pair now because as I said it was my error that broke the clamps(the first time I had no idea what caused it to break). I think they work really well and are very reasonably priced, and clearly customer service is on point.

great product great customer service

Works perfectly. Great grip, doesn't hurt. Make sure you hang the rings correctly so the cable isn't putting pressure on the clips. You can snap the clips if you do that with any adjustable ring setup. These guys have solid durability and a solid product.

Perfect for my needs!

These exercise rings were shipped very quickly and even came with a nice little carry bag. The rings are very strong and sturdy and so are the straps. The cam buckles hold the straps very well and I can only assume those who have had problems are threading the straps the wrong way; I have had no issues of slippage whatsoever. I have no fear of the straps not being able to hold me when doing rows, dips, hangs, or suspended push-ups, and I weigh close to 190 lbs. The only (super minor) negative I have is that I wish there were marked height indicators on the straps (like the EXF Rings). It would make adjustments faster and more accurate, but it's definitely not a deal breaker. Other than that, I have no complaints about this product but I did make it a little better for myself by purchasing two carabiners for the sole purpose of being able to clip the straps to a fence for more challenging suspended exercises. Also, it's easier and faster to hang them from a bar at the park without having to re-feed the straps through the cam buckles each time. In conclusion, Black Mountain Products is a great company and these exercise rings are perfect for my needs!

Comfortable, durable, easy to use. Completely satisfied.

Purchased these a couple of months and I couldn't be happier. It's a hell of a lot cheaper than a gym membership, and a hell of a lot more fun than just lifting weights. I'd like to point out that I'm new to gym rings, so my opinion is not that of an expert. They're comfortable, have good grip, and the weight feels just right. There is a light seam from the manufacturing process, but you can only tell if you're specifically looking for it, and I would be surprised if anyone noticed while using them. I installed clips for them to hang from on the support column in my basement, and that's where I usually use them. If I feel like I want some sun, I'll throw them over a strong tree branch outside. All-in-all, completely satisfied with this purchase.

Quality product and a good value.

This bundle contains everything you need to get started working out with a pair of suspended rings minus a structure to secure the straps to. Like pictured, this set contains a carrying case, two rings, two straps with clips to secure them with, and an instruction booklet. The supplied carrying case is adequate to carry them anywhere. Rings are sturdy and should hold up for a long time. The straps can hold a lot of weight and with the supplied clips are versatile in how you suspend them. One note: Be sure you put the clips on the straps properly. If done properly (per instructions) they are very secure. If they slip on you, stop and check that you do not have them backwards. I am suspending the rings from my power tower so the hook up was really easy. I am blessed with high ceilings and the tower is high off the floor so it is working great for me.

Decent value for price.

These rings were very reasonably priced and came as pictured with 2 long straps with buckles, two rings, and a carrying case. My main criticism is that the buckles are not very strong and I had to wrap the strap around the ring a few times to support the buckle, which slips when putting some force and weight on it. The rings themselves are solid and attractive. And the straps are nice and long. I hang them from a pull-up bar in my basement as well as on the rafters in my garage depending on what I'm doing. Once you figure out how to secure the straps by tying them or wrapping them multiple times around the rings, they are pretty handy and a good value for the price. If that's going to annoy you too much, you may have to invest in more expensive rings.

These rings are sturdy, and so are the straps and accompanying mechanisms. They are AWESOME, and they come in a sweet carrying bag, too! I've been using them quite often since I received them and they are extremely comfortable. The heavy duty plastic rings are monstrous - they are the kind of plastic you'd expect Nintendo to build their gameboys out of, or something Nokia melts down into phones. The straps are excellent quality too. I got these for a FANTASTICO price. Passing up the deal would have been a bad idea - these things are phenomenal.

Great product for the price, and they have an excellent length on the straps. The rings do get a little slippy by the end of an intense workout but that can be easily fixed with gloves or chalk.

My husbands favourite amazon purchase

We have these hanging from our maple tree in the backyard. My husband is obsessed. He hangs every day, has been doing all kinds of workouts he finds on YouTube, has got really toned and gained substantial muscle mass just over the summer or using these. Sometimes it seems like the rings is all he talks about. Every time he goes missing, he’s in the backyard hanging. For winter, he plans to get a doorway pull up bar to hang them off of. Excellent purchase. These are his fav thing he’s ever bought on amazon. My son (7), his friends, and I use them and enjoy them too. Great investment!
