Works well, but needs rolling base to move it.
I've only had this washer for 2 months. I can't speak yet to the longevity of the product, but if it breaks down, I will definitely be back to change this review. I am exceptionally happy with this washer. It works surprisingly well, and gets my clothes clean. It's small of course so each load is understandably small. It's also quieter than I was expecting too, which is good for living in an apartment. The one exception is the very LOUD beeping when the load has finished. I'd have liked a way to adjust the volume on that but there doesn't seem to be. The set up for hooking to a sink wasn't too complicated either. I've had no issues, or leaking with it since I installed it. At this time, I'd recommend the purchase of this washer with the following notes below... There are two downsides to this washer. The normal cycle isn't exactly normal, at least on mine. For some reason it is defaulted to to an exceptionally LONG spincycle at the end and I can't seem to change it. It was in the spin cycle for nearly an hour which was not necessary. All other settings seem to allow me to adjust things like wash time, number of rinses and spin time. But not the normal cycle. I end up washing everything on the Heavy setting so I have some control over the different parts of the cycle. The other downside is that the two wheels at the back of the washer do not do much for moving it around. I bought a small rolling platform for it to sit on instead, so the problem is solved, but it would have been nice if the washer had already come with either a platform fitted to it, or better wheels. Other than these two downsides, it's still a good product overall.

All considered, it is an excellent portable washer
First, when it was delivered to me I had to cut the plastic things off. Then I was trying to manuever the box to see the best way to cut it and where. To my surprise, I only needed to lift the box up, after taking out the styrafome. Then I unpacked it. The hardest step was taking the sink connection apart and finding out how exactly to connect it to the sink. Several Youtube videos helped me with that. Next step was connecting the water hose to the sink with the adaptor attached to the sink. You push down on the round, white thing while pushing up on the part under it. It is not hard to attach but to attach it correctly is challenging because you have to push up and hold the round, white thing down at the same time. It is not really that difficult but it is not so easy either. It finally cooperated. (Now, the more I connect it, the easier it gets.) I placed the water outlet tube in the sink and turned the water on. At this point, if the sink connection is not good, water will spew a little and/or drip. On the other hand, if it is well connected, it is amazing. The water will NOT come out until you turn the washer on, choose your 2 settings and press start. At that moment the washing machine will amazingly let the water flow from the sink. But at this point, watch where the other end of the hose connects to the washing machine. If it is not tight, it will leak. That has happened to me numerous times. Once the machine starts, just let it to its job. It is impressingly quiet while it works. Beware of where and how you leave the water hose where the water comes out. Twice it has slipped out of the sink and got water all over my floor. But you learn by doing and I now push it further down into the sink and observe the water when the machine starts emptying. It normally takes about 30 minutes to complete its wash cycle and spin. I have now used the machine for about 2 weeks and I AM satisfied!! My apt is small to I have to move the machine from the kitchen, over carpeting, the another room. To facilitate this, I bought a Vestil FWD 1824 3r fiberwood dolly with large wheels on Amazon. Mine came already assembled. It has made a big difference when trying to manuver the washing machine. Yes, the machine does have 2 wheels on the back, which are helpful, but with this dolly, moving it is much easier. Make sure to turn the water in your sink OFF before disconnecting the hose. One last comment: water CAN and does flow uphill! The water leaving the machine must go from the bottom of the washer to the top of my sink, which is a couple of feet. How it defies physics I do not know, Maybe it's some kind of air or water pressure. So, in summary, I am very surprised that the machine can control the water flow in my sink and that water pressure can flow up. I must also say that yesterday for the first time, I cleaned the filter in the tub of the machine. It was rather dirty. Getting it off was easy but getting it back on was difficult only because I had not taken a good look at exactly how the bag with the filter was placed. It took several attempts but I finally got it to snap. Now that I know, the next time will be quite easy. The whole process and everything involved is easy once you get some experience. Like anything else. When you remove the filter at the bottom of the machine, be careful. I think water that did not flow up to the sink collected there, so when I took it off for cleaning, a good but unexpectedly came out. Solution: put a bowl under the black filter before you unscrew it to remove it. So in conclusion, I would definitely recommend this machine. One last word of advise: Read the directions before you start!

A GAMECHANGER for small spaces
The media could not be loaded. This New Yorker can't recommend this mighty washer enough!!! I have been using for about 1 month and this compact portable washer is the perfect addition to my apartment. To address the complaints about the back wheels not really working; these are accurate as you have to tip the machine sooooo far back in order to get the weight of the machine on the wheels. I keep mine in my kitchen and simply pick it up and walk it over to the sink. It's really not THAT heavy but I am a strong gal. Bedding, denim, delicates you name it and i've washed it. I honestly think it washes my clothes better than the crusty industrial washers I was using in my last building. Things to Note: -The machine instructions say to only use cold water. I was slightly annoyed at that but then i was reading that cold water actually gets stains out better so joke was on me. -My old sink does not allow for the machine to control the water output so if the machine is done filling up then the connection between the sink and hose sprouts a little leak. I just stay close and know the cycle pattern now to turn on/off the water. The only time it beeps is when something is wrong or the cycle is done. So I have to listen for this faint buzzing noise to know it's trying to fill up with water. -The first time I plugged it in and pushed the buttons then went on my way. I came back to what seemed like a clean load but after hang drying realized that because I didn't allow the washer to fill up with water for the rinse cycle I had dried clothes that had a bit too much detergent on them. Now I have it dialed in-- I always use the "normal" cycle on a medium load size setting which is only 30 minutes and listen for it draining into the sink so I can turn the water back on at the 16 minute mark and again at 8 minute mark (sometimes the second rinse time varies). -The first few times the spin cycle started i was actually concerned with the speed and velocity that the washer was going to fly around the room. It did not. And now I'm used to it. The spin cycle (video attached) is soooo powerful. -As mentioned, the cycle is only 30 minutes!!!! I love that it's so short but gets my clothes soooo clean. -My setup is a little alternative. Since I store the washer in the kitchen, the sink is higher and so I thread the drain hose into my over-the-sink dish drying rack and secure by setting down a cast iron pan because the last thing I need is the drain hose coming loose and spraying detergent water all over my kitchen. -I purchased a long wardrobe bar to drill into the wall and S hooks to maximize how much i could hang dry at once! -There's a yellow tag on the machine that estimates your electricity consumption for this machine will be roughly $6!!!!!! I paid $6 just to do 2 loads in my last building. But most importantly, drying and dryer sheets are bad for your clothes and the earth! I considered buying a cheaper plastic version on amazon for maybe $100 and I'm sooooo glad I sprung for the Black + Decker machine.

No sé por qué no la venden en México!
Haré una reseña con funcionamiento o usos. Apenas la tengo por 3 días y ya la usé 7 veces. Eso sí, tardó casi un mes en enviarse (Amazon Internacional Standard) desde la fecha de compra. Aproximadamente 20 días. El envío sólo fue de 2 días. Las medidas de profundidad contando la manguera de desagüe es de 48cm, la medida de ancho con espacios laterales recomendados es de 45cm y la altura es de 78cm. Es decir, una ves que la abres y sacas de la caja, es muy bonita y da ternura por lo compacta. Pero esa es su ventaja. Las cargas habituales que realice fueron de : 15 boxers talla M, o 5 a 7 playeras talla M o G, o 2 pantalones de mezclilla talla 32. No la llenes a más de 3/4 de ropa seca. Detergente se recomienda usar los que tienen el logo "he" high efficiency (alta eficiencia). En mi caso recomiendo el detergente mexicano "Newen" de venta también en Amazon. Ya que es biodegradable y concentrado (alcanza a lavar bien con una a tres cucharadas 10 a 30ml) en lugar de los detergentes comerciales que usas tapas de más de 100ml. Aún así en las instrucciones se recomienda usar la mitad de lo que dicen los envases. En cuanto a ruido, es muy silenciosa incluso durante el centrifugado. Respecto a las conexiones, los aditamentos con los que viene, fueron suficientes para conectarla a la llave del lavabo. Viene con dos gomitas dentro de la conexión rápida. Dependiendo si es para rosca interna o externa se pone o se quita el empaque superior. La manguera del desagüe, TIENE QUE ESTAR POR ENCIMA DEL NIVEL DE AGUA DE LA LAVADORA, es decir, si la dejas en el suelo, jamás se va a llenar. Tiene varios modos de lavado. Únicamente el modo Pesado (Heavy), Gentil (Gentle) y Remojar (Soak) te dejan modificar todos los parámetros de lavado. El modo Normal y Rápido sólo permite cambiar nivel de agua y número de enjuagues. El lavado (Wash) se puede seleccionar hasta 20min, se pueden seleccionar hasta tres enjuagues (Rinse) y hasta 9min de centrifugado (Spin). Cualquiera de estos tres parámetros se pueden omitir al dejarlos en 0. El modo rápido tarda 15min y el modo más tardado 88/90min. El atrapa pelusa en verdad funciona. No tengo ninguna queja al respecto. Si acaso el tiempo de envío y el costo que se paga por importación (va incluído en el precio). Si esta lavadora se vendiera en México costaría $1,200 pesos menos es decir entre $5,500 a $6,100 pesos. Que bien lo valen. En verdad recomiendo la lavadora. Como extra les recomiendo comprar un codo a 90° para la manguera de llenado y quede más cómoda la conexión en la lavadora. Haré actualización al mes o 3 meses, a ver qué tal va. Ha pasado un mes, y todo funciona perfectamente, igual que el primer día. El modo de lavado "Pesado" es mi favorito, el cual personalizo en cada lavada. Recomiendo usar jabón Persil.

Did they send me a used machine?
I researched portable washing machines and chose this brand and model because I trust the quality of the brand, even though there are cheaper devices on the market. I was excited to get this for my eldest daughter now that she has moved out and purchased her own home. I opened the box to set up the washing machine and was very shocked to find that there is a dried residue stuck to the inside and outside of the machine and it smells like chemicals. I also noticed that there is a wet, oily sludge in the manual drain port and there is water in the bottom of the machine. The lint catcher is also slightly disfigured. This unit appears to be used and reboxed. I haven't run the machine yet, but I gave it good ratings for size and maneuverability because it is a really nice product otherwise and I hope the vendor sorts this out. I am filing a complaint with the vendor next. Update: I contacted Amazon and quickly sorted it out. The vendor is shipping a new unit at no charge to me. Good outcome.

Compacta y eficiente
Es fácil de instalar y de usar. Aunque el manual dice que hay que cargarla a 3/4 de su capacidad, la he llenado sin pasar el peso recomendado de carga y trabaja sin problemas.

Information on connecting the machine
This was definitely the best choice I made. This is not a very large machine, but it is ideal for apartments and places without installing a larger machine. It washes very well and its centrifuge is great, at the end of the wash the clothes are just damp, without much water. I almost gave up on the purchase because the seller has no information about the size and thickness of the faucet connector that comes with the machine and I didn't know if it would be easy to plug into my faucet. But yes, the connector fit on every faucet in the house. I took a tape measure and took a picture and put it on top of the connector that came with the machine. It's not that perfect, but I hope it helps other people who have the same question. The tape measure is in centimeters

Quite and efficient.
We live in an RV and this is a great addition to our place. It is quite, easy to use and store. We wondered about the spin cycle would it vibrate, no it does not. Very solid, we have just recently purchased a roller for it and even then it sits solidly with no vibration and just works great. We also installed a quick connect to the water inlet and this makes it easier when hooking up the machine.
