Great Sealer

I like this vacuum sealer for the little extras. It has the built in bag storage and cutter which just makes it so convenient to use compared to dealing with a loose roll and scissors. Big fan of Stanley Black and Decker products as well. Overall, very happy with the purchase.

Tried 2, neither worked

I bought the black and decker vacuum sealer, trusting the black and decker brand over the many "unknows". I have always wanted a vacuum sealer for frozen foods but now that I have a sous vide (anova sous vide-amazing) I really wanted one. The vacuum sealer arrived and I was excited to try it. It would not lock closed. The first time I closed it only one side clicked and did not lock the lid. After that, I tried over and over to lock it to start vacuuming. It never worked. I figured I received a lemon, it happens, so I ordered a replacement. The second vacuum sealer arrived quickly. Took it out of its pristine box and this one was actually slightly dented on both sides. Very little hope. I tried it and this one would not lock either. Returned too. Disappointed and now I am thinking I see more ziploc freezer bags in my future.

Great machine

This came with 2 rolls and I ordered some extra pre-cut bags. The suction is really impressive (yes, it’s loud but I don’t care) and I don’t worry about freezer burn anymore. I’m saving money because my food lasts longer!

NOT an "easy to operate" vacuum system

The controls are terrible. One time it vacuums and seals and seals and seals. It won't stop the process, so I try to hold the vacuum by manual sealing and then it loses the vacuum. I press on MANUAL VACUUM AND IT WILL NOT TURN ON. Nothing in the owners manual. Terrible. And used these vacs for 10 years! I have wasted a half a dozen bags just on one attempt!

Box damaged, but it works with perfection!!

The media could not be loaded. Hopefully it’s not broken. We’ll see. UPDATE: The vacuum sealer gets the job done quickly!

Items missing. Description is not accurate.

The website states that there are 4 rolls 11" x 19.7 included in box. NOT TRUE. I received only 1 roll of this size and when I read the box nowhere does it state 4 rolls included. It says one.
