The WingOne Really Works & It Is Very Easy To Use. You Need This!

THE BEST BY FAR!!!!! You think I am joking? Not! I first purchased one of those plastic hand clay launchers and out of the three people we had launching them, non of us could get consistent results no matter what we tried. We then watched some YouTube videos to see what we were doing wrong or to see what may help us. Some say to place the clays in half way. We tried that and it did help a little. Then in a video, they say to use a Dremel Tool to reshape the thrower. That somewhat worked but nothing really helped so one of my friends purchased a small dual clay throwing machine. Seem to work good but didn't stay in the ground. The string came off several times, it was large so it was hard to find a storage space for it, it was hard to cock and lock it every time and lastly, when trying to step on it to drive it in to the ground better, it flipped and cut my friends leg pretty bad. After that I yet again watched some YouTube videos to fix our problems. In the videos, they strapped the machine to a picnic table or a sheet of wood or even a tire. Really? That doesn't sound portable or easy to move around to me. The clay machine may be good for a back yard where it can stay put but bringing it to the range every time and strapping it down, for me, was a big pain. That is when I noticed a YouTube video for the WingOne clay hand thrower. Seemed to good to be true but it wasn't. I ordered it from Amazon and in two days I had it. The three of us went to the range and we actually had fun. Both in throwing the clays and shooting at the clays. The WingOne is fun and it really works. After watching a few videos, I was able to throw a few curves and I got very consistent throws in the directions that I wanted. It's just like throwing a base ball. Where ever you point the WingOne, that is the direction it goes. Close to the end of your throw, snap your wrist and away the clay goes. Best of all, you don't have to try to throw as hard as you can to get a clay to fly far. I am very impressed with the WingOne! I hope this review helps someone with there decision. Birchwood! that is made of plastic, Ergonomic issues

I used this to throw 90 clays over the course of about 1.5 hours and by the time I was done my arm was killing me. I might just be a baby, but the hard thunk snapping action that it uses sends a force through your wrist and forearm that add up over time. Don't be a hero! split up the throwing job, its easy enough to learn with this. It performed well. I would say 90% of my throws were dead on and only like 2 clays broke out of the thrower. I got the hang of it within 3 tries. Some other people struggled, but they didn't read the directions... Even if I can throw a clay over them there mountains with this thing, I still hate products that have declarative brand names that do not live up to their quality or performance. minus 1 star for those shenanigans regardless of performance!

Awesome tool with some needed upgrades

This clay thrower is awesome. Didnt break one clay while throwing. The design is lacking somewhat, but I understand they want to keep it affordable. The at home upgrade for this, is to wrap a couple layers of foam around the handle, then duct tape the foam on. Essentially doubling the grip diameter. This is to reduce the shock sent up the grip, every time you throw. This thrower releases the clay by pivoting and slamming into a steel bolt. This creates the fast stop needed to release the clay, this is what also creates the shockwave that causes hardcore wrist pain. Goodluck!

Bought a second one.

It took several throws to get the hang of it but I was throwing clays as far as was our machine. My kids and I agree that throwing the clays is almost as much fun as shooting them. I have a bad shoulder but it didn't seem to bother me after throwing about 50 clays.

The WingOne Really Works

Got the WingOne (single clay - right handed) after watching the videos and reading reviews. Like others we had been using the familiar original thrower that has been around forever, which broke a lot of clay's, wouldn't launch the clay many times and hard to get a good consistent flight pattern. We took the WingOne out this weekend and it was a game changer right out of the box. Three different people throwing, and not one broken clay, not one failure to launch and we were able to get good direction on the flight. One of the available videos on YouTube had kids under 11 throwing with WingOne and we let a 4 year old try throwing with WingOne and he was able to after 3 practices and a little coaching. We threw about 100 clays, so i can't speak to the longevity of the WingOne yet, but it is guaranteed for life. 5 stars in all categories.

Easy thrower.

We had clays flying perfectly in no time with this thrower. Everyone in the family was able to throw clays with this from our youngest kid (age 9) to aging father looking to have fun with the grand kids learning to shoot.

Buy one, You will never use another hand thrower again.

These are the best hand throwers I’ve ever used hands down! Never break a clay, You can actually throw broken pieces very well, if have a third or more you are laughing. Easy to throw a variety of trajectories, I bought the lefty for right hand backhand throws. I have the righty as well, People don’t know what hit em when I get these two going, Very quick reloads. Seriously, These are soooo much better than the regular hand throwers!

Easy to use

Easy to use once you get a hang of it you can load it super fast. So much better then the plastic ones. Always launches and rarely breaks the clay pigeons. Very impressed
