Excellent thermal protection from this bib

Anyone who uses Eskimo products a lot knows they stand up to the cold. This ice bib is no different. It has a really good insulation factor and on zero degree weather on the ice, it kept me warm. It has removable knee pads which are great for kneeling down over the ice hole to bring a fish in. Even on and off the slush all day my pants didn't get wet by the end of the day. The front dual zippers make it easy to water the snow when you drink too much coffee in the morning. The side zippers go all the way up to the hip so getting it on and off over thermal boots is easy. There are secure pockets that zip close with a flap over them to keep your valuables secure. The one thing I didn't like about it was the suspender straps rubbed an area raw. That can be fixed by wearing more underneath tho and is probably entirely dependent on body type so I can't fault the product for that.

Husband loves theses

Bought these for my husband to wear ice fishing and he loves them. Padded waterproof knees are great for kneeling on the ice.

Warm and durable

So far, i really like these. Knee pads are a plus. I need to figure out how to keep my shirt from riding up under the bib.

Great bibs

Heald off on purchsing these for a few seasons and i wish i hadn't. I'm 5'10", 190lbs male, ordered the large. Fit perfect, warm and comfortable. Very happy with them out on the ice

Prefect for Winter

I work outside in the winter and it’s gets cold especially high in the mountains. Bought these after countless pairs of coveralls and I’ll never buy any others one. They keep you so warm and dry. I drill wells for a living so trying to stay dry is a never ending issue but not with these.

zips up to the hip

Needed a large pair of bibs. These have nice large front pockets. They also zip up to the hip so I can get on and off without removing my boots. They also zip from the top of the hip down in-case you need to get into your pant pockets. The hem is semi adjustable, it folds in and Velcro's to shortest leg length, you can make them longer, but zipper only goes to the shorter length which is fine.

I'm 5 9 . 210lbs Fit a large but got an xl ... $310 for lg or $170 for xl (cdn) Sooooo After getting the xl... much better decision as I layer up when it gets to -40 / 50... My advice... go a size up unless your Temps are -15 or warmer then the insulation in this bib would be more then fine with a hoody. Only con.... as a shorter Individual... the knee pad area is badly placed but minor inconvenience (maybe cuz I bought a size up) Overall 9.5/10 as my only con is minor and ill just hike them up a slight bit for the tip ups Hope this helps

Have not tested the extreme cold but - So far so good

Bought these end of February and the weather has not been that cold so it is hard to validate that they are good for really cold weather. Here is what I can confirm.... love the zipper assembly on each side - they reach the top of your hips which makes it easy to put the pants on over your boots. The knee pads are priceless - comfortable and spongy - and I have bad knees. I also bought the jacket and I would say the same about it. This material is bulletproof against the wind.....you never feel a draft - as much as I have not been cold, I have not been hot in this suit even after walking 3 kms on a river at zero C. The water stays out - I lay on the ice some time to do sight fishing and stayed absolutely dry as a bone.... Windproof, waterproof, breathes well, not too hot not too cold - absolutely satisfied.

Great value for a nice bib.

These are a great set of bibs overall. I'm 5'11", 185 lbs. and the large is a perfect fit. Pros: they are warm, comfortable and a great fit. Great value for the price. Cons: the extra knee padding for kneeling on the ice (which I seldom do) is a bit bulgy and uncomfortable. I do prefer full torso bibs over these low cut ones.

Nice bibs and good price! Perfect fit with me at medium size. I am 5.6ft and 180 lbs. just the knee pad little tired when sit down. So warm when I fishing outside around -10

Love these! Warm and padded nicely. Pocket locations are excellent. Bit expensive but I would say worth it now that I have them. Waiting for really cold weather to see how they keep in the heat.
