Batteries that last more than 2 years
I used 9 volt Durra Cell Batteries in my smoke detectors and they lasted for more than two years. They are great and the best battery that lasts longer than any other battery on the market and have always been #1!!!!

3 Years Storage Life When Received
I use 4 Duracell 9v batteries each year for smoke alarms in my house. I replace them each year in late spring. No problems after many years of doing this. This batch was made in Malaysia and printed with the date "March 2026."

I thought maybe I would receive some old stock batteries but they were current dates and much cheaper than I could buy at the store. I would buy from them again

Buy rechargables.
Tired of paying so much money on AAA, AA, 9 volt batteries. Bought a rechargeable kit for all batteries Including 9 volt. Bought AA, AAA, 9 volt batteries. Altogether I spent $100. Charged all of them. Use them in different devices. My recommendation: Put a small booklet in your junk drawer and mark location of where or what you have put your rechargeable batteries in. Number each battery. Rechargeable batteries keep their charge about a year, then lose their charge pretty quickly. So know where that are at, replace them, and recharge them for the next change out cycle. I always have batteries now and not paying $9-$15 on batteries that last a couple of months. P.S. Buy a battery case to keep batteries in. Put it in your utility room or closet.

Best consistent 9 volt battery for fire alarms

Perform flawlessly for me. It's all I use!
Years ago myself and some cohorts at a training center decided to test these batteries compared to three other major brands .We created a circuit to a clock using batteries. Put a load on the circuit and noticed the time lapse when the batteries failed. Did the same with other brands and found that this brand provided at LEAST 30% more time than the next competitor. Now that was about 30 years ago, but I assume the others have improved or they would not still be on the market. However, I still use these because I believe "If it ain't broke, don't fix it"!

Wrong batteries, not duralock as described.
Paid extra for duralock and got duracel plus only. What a waste of money. Hardly worth returning.

The product was advertised with a 5 year life, but the batteries had less than 4 year shelf life. I paid a premium for 5 years.

Great quality battery
I use these in my smoke detectors to protect my family and I should a fire occur. Best not to take any unnecessary risk by using short life batteries. The Duracell power batteries last for 2/3 years!

The best replacement battery for fire alarm
Original fire alarm battery lasted 5 years ! no point looking for cheaper alternatives. No brainer when it comes to household safety, particularly fire alarms.
