Great extra support while hiking
Collapsible and easy to extend to a perfect fit regardless of your height. We have two pair, one for me and one for my wife and with the gradation marks on them it is easy to set each one up for a perfect fit. The cork grips and wrist straps ensure a steady grip. We’ve been using them on trails in Zion and Bryce Canyon in SW Utah and they’ve been great to have on the rough terrain of some of the trails. Multiple feet styles makes them versatile for different surface conditions.

Cost effective
Great pair of trekking poles for a really inexpensive price. We’ll see how long they last, but so far, I’m pleased. I like the cork grip. Extending the poles to the right size is easy with the number markings. Color and style is nice. Carrying case and accessories (mud baskets, etc.) are appreciated. The one thing I am getting used to is the “quick lock” which is kinda the opposite of quick. With other poles, you just twist to tighten. These require you to fiddle with a small bit and then clamp to lock the pole in place. If you overtighten the bit, the clamp won’t clamp. So it takes a bit of practice. Overall, I’m pleased with the product.

Durable and trustworthy
First time using trekking poles and my first time hiking Mt.baldy in the snow. I really can’t imagine how I would have managed to survive without these durable life savers as they helped me securely make my next move when a path would get too narrow or steep. You typically imagine yourself using these to go uphill but I felt especially grateful to them going downhill as I didn’t go sliding down as their grip is unmatched. Tons of applications and if you’re out of shape like me, you can use them to lean on while you catch your breathe. I’m 230 pounds so I was surprised to see they didn’t snap immediately. Also used them as an impromptu ice pick to stop myself from sliding down some icy slopes! 10/10 ☃️

Didn't work for me, but kid loves them
I ordered these when one of my earlier sets broke. When I found out they wouldn't fold up small enough to go in front of my driver's seat, I initiated a return. Before I got around to it, I gave them to my son, who is an avid hiker. He used them recently on a two-day hike through mountains. Day One, he said he didn't like them. Day Two, he said he decided to give them a one-mile second chance. He used them for the rest of the hike and considers them well worth the weight, especially to save his knees on steep downhill sections.

Great value for the money
These poles are definitely worth the price. Love the storage bag and different tips. We used these for the first time at Ricketts Glen in PA doing the falls trail loop. It's pretty rocky in some areas and the poles made it a lot easier. So easy to adjust and love the different grip materials. Makes those harder trails much more doable.

Wow!!
Amazing collapsible hiking stick! I read a bunch of reviews and looked at so many. I even chose another one first that I returned. I love this one! Took a min for me to understand the locking mechanism but once you get it, it’s fast. I’m 5’10” and it was plenty tall without being extended all the way. The cork handle was wonderful- I have sweaty hands and it absorbed it all. It has not flaked off as of yet. I took them on a hiking trip this week and loved them and knew I had to write a review. I can’t speak to durability yet but I can say it felt sturdy, did not collapse at all, and has nice shock absorption. The only thing I wish was that the hand strap was removable maybe. But that being said it didn’t get in my way as I thought it might. The little different feet are interested. I only used it with the bare tip with the mud ring on packed dirt/rock/mud and it worked great. Carrying case is nice. Highly recommend!

First Time Trekking Poler on a Third Trip to Isle Royale
It's like having a second set of eyes on the trail! Our trip was to Isle Royale National Park and although it wasn't my first time there, it had been about 15 years since I was there last. Needless to say, I'm a bit older and achier with joints that are starting to creak more. I know what the trails are like there and I thought it would be a smart and safer idea to try trekking poles for this trip. Since I didn't know what to expect from using trekking poles, I did not want to spend a whole lot in case I didn't like them. Well these poles exceeded my expectations and at a fair price to boot. I'm not clumsy and there were still a handful of times I may have seriously sprained a knee or ankle if it weren't for the stability of these poles. Not a good predicament in back country like this. The poles were easy to get used to with my steps. On the rocky and rooted parts of the trails, I planted the poles slower about every other step and they provided good stability and balance. On the rare smoother parts of the trails I planted the poles quicker with each step and they provided some propulsion to make a quicker pace. On declines and big down steps, they took some of the exertion off my knees. And for short inclines it was easy to drop my hand to a lower grip to get some umpfh to step up. The wrist straps came at just the right length (they are adjustable even tho I didn't realize that until the last day LOL), and when I lowered my grip for those inclines, they provided a sling-like support on the back of my hands to help pull me up. In some areas where we had a lot of continuous incline or decline, it was quick and easy to change the length of the poles with the quick lock mechanisms for those situations. Some of the trails were narrow boardwalks where you couldn't really plant a pole. So in those parts I held the poles together, horizontally to be more like a balancing pole. I thought I might get tired of holding them all the time, but not so. The cork grips were comfortable the entire trip. They never got sweaty or slippery and I didn't get any blisters. If I needed hands free at any time, the wrist straps held the poles close enough to grab again easily. This pole set came with 4 different sets of tips. I debated taking the rubber tips along since I knew it would be so rocky. (The poles had shipped with those tips on.) In the end I took them off and decided to go without any tips, just the bare tungsten carbide tips as they were. On the trail I was especially impressed by how well these bare tungsten carbide tips "gripped" even on the giant, relatively smooth, sloped boulders we had to go over. They never slipped once. The trails on Isle Royale are pretty rough. It's a watch-your-every-step kind of hiking. Even so, these poles allowed me to glance up more to see our surroundings. If I stepped wrong on a rock or root I didn't see, the poles (which I had planted ahead of my steps) were like second eyes, and gave me the balance to survive a misstep. We got a lot of rain on this trip and many trails were also flooded in parts. The poles made it possible to feel below the surface of the water if there were solid steps we could use to step on, or how deep a puddle really was. We even had a short whitewater crossing due to heavy rains and those poles were extremely helpful then. If I were to give one negative point about these poles it's that the lines and measurements were wearing off by the end of the trip. They went through a lot of water which probably didn't help matters though. Overall, I would highly recommend these poles. They are comfortable, light, strong and easy to use. As for myself, I intend to use them for all my hiking trips from now on.

Great for an old man
These poles are inexpensive but feel strong. I am a more senior guy but walk up a gravel road daily that gains a couple of hundred feet in elevation and these poles do the trick. (Back down too!)

Great value for money poles
Bought these as read that it can help take pressure of the knees when walking long distances which I am trying to do more of. Didn't want to shell out a lot of money and after some research went for these. Nice and sturdy and the locking/adjustment mechanism is really quick and easy to use. Nice to have the set of tips to go with it for different conditions that lots of more expensive poles don't offer. Cork grips are really comfortable and it's great to have he secondary foam grips, as when going up hill you can shorten the hand to ground distance without having to adjust the poles. Wrist straps also comfortable even without gloves. There is a bit of vibration on harder ground but for the cost vs shock absorption models it doesn't bother me. Took them out on a long hike and could really feel the difference. Unfortunately one snapped when I fell but at 120kilos, I don't think any poles would have withstood that, so have purchased another pair, as this was not the poles fault.

Highly impressive and recommended at the price.
Terrific at the price and delivered nearly 2 weeks early. Would be a 5 star buy if the straps were a mirror pair but were right hand entry on both. This seems to be common amongst poles. Incidentally, these seem to be about identical to the Glymnis poles which I also bought, apart from paint job and strap design. Highly impressive and recommended.

Worth the money
They rattle sometimes and the strap adjustment is naff. But for a beginner, they are fine, and they come with useful accessories that fit my new Leki poles.

Outstanding product!
A solid five stars! I read plenty of reviews suggesting the cork instead of the EVA because its slippery when wet. Not true. I've got about 200kms on these poles, in the brief time Ive had them, on the La Cloche Silhouette trail (Kilarney) and the Coastal Hiking Trail (Pukaskwa) and they have been flawless. The EVA does not slip when wet. The aluminum poles are very light and more importantly, very sturdy. Ive had my entire body weight (+pack) 'leaned' onto these poles while trying to re-establish my footing on a tricky decent. No collapse or even slip. Lots of tip options. I prefer the little rubber boots as an all-around good tip. Save yourself the cash and skip the carbon-fibre/cork. These will exceed expectations. For anyone not sold on the idea of using trekking poles, I cant tell you how many times my poles have saved me from something catastrophic. You cant beat the price of these poles, so just try them.
